Ridiculous that Darth Maul is getting a DX release while something like Jedi Luke gets a lacking regular release. Character with 5 minutes of screen time in one of the worst movies in the entire saga gets a better release then Luke at his prime? Really?

My tin foil hat theory is that HT and SS are working together to not step on each others toes as much as we think. SS has a basic Darth Maul so that’s your option if you don’t want 2 PERS Heads.Jedi Luke has a ‘Deluxe’ SS release that’s basically the same price as the HT Jedi Luke, letting both companies get some of the market.

I think the price for speeder version is pretty fair. Two heads(granted one’s an odd choice), a vehicle, bunch of saber options with two LED saber handles, probe droid. To compare to the Emperor, he only comes with a chair, some lightening effect, and a cane and is still over $300; bet your behind if he had a second sculpt he’d be close if not at $400. Plus other figures like Mud Trooper, Royal Guard and Patrol Trooper are “fairly” priced(for 2018, not 2008), even if bare bones, so it’s not like everything is in the $300 range(compare to IW Doctor Strange at almost $270). I’d say it’s just more a reason to try and keep some focus to a collection and try not to get it all. Luckily, my main focus is everything Star Wars, so I’m all in on Sith Speeder version

Against better judgement I went with the speeder version. Already have 2 Mauls. This will make 3. I want the speeder mostly. I may purposely pose him on the speeder since I my SS V2 already looks good as is.

Can’t justify that price. I’m out on a figure i thought for sure I’d be in on. I thought i was limiting to mostly just Star Wars looks like i might be limiting even more so.

Had the original Hasbro back when I first started in this thing in the late 90s

I think the better option is with the speeder. Ordered at bbts because i dont need a hologram.
