I believe it's when there is no longer a pull to the light side. Which is why Kylo doesn't yet have Sith eyes.

Kylo also isn't a Sith...the Sith died with Palpatine.

For those who have the figure. The lightsaber comes with 2 plugs one for show the other one for belt . Can anyone figure out a replacement plug ?

Even though there is no clear explanation, I believe when the Force users commited mass murders through the use of dark power (anger and hatred)..their souls were completely twisted/consumed by it and "Sith eyes" was the sign that they sinked deep into that miserable path. You guys could refer to entire Jedi temple and Seperatist leaders in Mustafar were slayed by Anakin.

Powerful Sith like Sidious, Doouku could hide their nature through immense amount of meditation training...

Kylo is no Sith, just a pathetic emo manchild with PTSD.

Just soaked my robe in cold water with a drop of clothes soap and softener for 2 hours and the water was a purple-brown color. Going to do 1-2 more soaks depending on how much comes out of it tomorrow after it dries.

I so agree with anakin being a grail. Tbh they really did well with this figure and i dont see them re releasing him with sith eyes or any other version. Maybe the Attack of the Clones Anakin (I hope not cuz it's my least favorite one) Congrats on the pick up and you wont be disappointed with Luke

I'm sure they'll definitely make AotC Anakin. The SHF 1/12 figure goes for $150-200 now. Probly won't be as desired as this one but I think there will be plenty of demand. Especially if they give us a Padme.

I opened my set up yesterday and he looks great. Can't display him now but looking forward to it. The mechno arm had one finger that was not glued in. I'm not gonna send it back for that so will just do a little super glue to get that one finger back in place.

Just a pic from phone but really love this figure. I still like the medicom version as well and I’m glad I kept it but the Hot Toys is superior in my opinion.

It’s from the original figure. I try not to touch it cause I have seen the pictures of it breaking down. I think it’s due to handling and humidity.

I have feeling the 2nd batch of Anakin will probably be free of the issues we discovered. Stained hand, dyes, short robe...
It would be great to report a V2 when the second batch hits.

I didn't pull the figure out to be honest but I'm pretty sure I'm 'second batch' as I got the figure last week after being told I was waitlisted after the original release. So I doubt there will be any changes. Doesn't basically every figure with a robe have the issues with dye back to Obi-Wan?

I think it’s going to be a Toy Fair Exclusive...Like Evil Superman was. I’m trying to think what extra accessory they could give him....Maybe a lava base??? I would buy it. Just like I bought evil Superman....hahhahaha

Nice shot! First time unboxing a human character (last bought Han and chewie but yet to unbox); come with a factory wrapped neck; took me a while before realising the correct way to remove it is to plug out the head [emoji28] have you tried doing the “wield up the lightsaber high” pose for anakin? I tried but failed...

Wow, I missed your reply! Sorry for such a late response! No I haven’t tried that pose yet actually, but I’ll eventually try that. I haven’t even posed him much since I got him but I hope to take more pics soon.

I read it happening on Obiwan too and I'm assuming it'll happen with Luke too; don't put the robes in contact with the figure body.
