Pretty sure there were photos of her in costume on set. Plus, we already know she's going to be in future Marvel movies, so I would definitely expect her in Avengers 4.

Do you have a link to these photos? I can't find anything about her except she and some others escaped.

I’m pretty sure this figure ain’t happening unless HT wants to take a loss.

The only way i can see this happening is if she is one of the limited summer exclusives. But with Thor, Black Panther, Avengers, Deadpool, Star Wars and Antman & Wasp there is so much they can choose from for summer exclusives that i can't see her making the cut.

I would have boought her but i think the window is closing very quickly.

I hate when HT does this--Yellowjacket, Crossbones, Ultron Drone, '66 Joker, etc. I understand that they don't want to put resources into figures that could be potential money losers, but they should really have a business model that allows them to produce short-run b-listers. I'm sure if they offered a "limited edition" line that was capped at maybe 1,000 or 1,500 figures (whatever makes sense) those would sell through like hotcakes, even at a premium. Limited figures would probably do very well in the secondary, so you'd have both collectors and speculators grabbing them up. Hot Toys could probably outsource the entire development operation to a subcontractor and just oversee quality control.

The problem with this is that the upcharge to make a limited run feasible won't be justified by the level of demand.

The amount of people who want Crossbones vs the amount of people willing to pay $500 for crossbones is a very different thing.

This only get exponentially more difficult and costly when you get more complex in new part requirement. Something like Yellowjacket would need extensive amounts of new molds and parts - and molds are the name of the game. They are pricey and arguably the most expensive part of production, especially for things that retain the quality of detail that HT achieves. You as the end customer will pay for that in the increased cost; and if the figure wasn't going to sell well at $230 or whatever, it sure as heck isn't going to sell well at $460 to cover that.

It's a bummer that so many of these B-level characters slip through the cracks, but for HT to work as a company it has to happen. Apparently even Yondu's preorder sales were low - and that is the reason he's sold out so fast. So that tells you a lot, he's an A lister that still had a lukewarm preorder reception (which determines production sizes). With figures like The Mandarin, Jor-El, and Tonto literally being given away by their largest US retailer, I don't blame them for not treading into that territory as often now.

Yeah, because you know for 100% certain that she would present a loss for Hot Toys.

I really think she should have been done in the final white outfit with the blue cape…
That suit is badass and would really pop on the shelf, plus no rubber arm syndrome would be a plus.

A big part of the issue is Sideshow's price gouging. The majority of people are only willing to pay so much mark up. Sideshow has gotten greedy trying to squeeze those dollars out of us.

Their newsletters and emails have become a joke with regards to Hot Toys where new Hot Toys figures are pushed to the bottom of an email below 5 or 6 Sideshow products that I have no interest in. The day the Hot Toys Deadpool figure was announced as an example I had to scroll down through a bunch of Sideshow's overpriced pieces. "Curated Collectibles" is actually what people "sometimes" shop their site for. They are making it so we have almost no choice on whete to shop thanks to the allocations for third party retailers. Look at the current market for Infinity War Dr Strange. Sideshow has made sure they are the only act in town right now even in this early preorder stage.

She was in the promo pics for Loki, which didn’t go up that long ago. Don’t they pretty much always release figures that get teased in another figure’s promo pics?

Agreed. Seems they really wanted to focus on the Sakaar outfits though (except for Loki), which is a shame to me, as I prefer the outfits everyone was wearing at the end of the movie, on Asgard.

I disagree. Seems like you are pissed off at Sideshow and want to put the blame on them.

I don't know with 100% certainty...that's why I said "I'm pretty sure," which implies that in all likelihood it won't happen, but I'm not ruling it out completely.

I would actually be more surprised if this was released than if she wasn't.

Has a figure shown up in another figures promo image and then not been produced? None come to kind. Usually when they’re in promo pics, they come.

The 1st Ant Man figure had a couple blurry shots of Yellow jacket The IW Black Widow has a couple figures in the promo shots that most doubt we will get. I'm sure there has been others.

Hot Toys has the prototype for Valkyrie done. I have no idea but maybe they thought that everyone wanted the white outfit instead and decided not to put anymore into it and dropped it.
