Like I said before. Someone said that crap years ago and fools keep repeating it without thinking. I have seen half scale statues in person and none of them looks like little kids in costume. Kids proportions are Soo much different it's retarded to say they even look remotely like a adult shaped statue.

Just for the record I never knew anyone else said it. This is actually the first time I made any comments about a half scale in a negative way on any forum other then the bad Indiana Jones piece that SSC gave up on.

Perhaps child cosplay is the wrong wording... But the something about the scale look off to me still for whatever reason and I have seen a couple in person.

I think a great pose helps though.. I never thought The Wolverine 1/2 scale looked off. Great pose.

There is nothing "off" about 1:2 scale. Period. End of story. Just move on and be "done" as you promised in your last post.

My god in heaven I just was saying that I was not ridding someone coat tails about the "child cosplay" I even talked about how great the wolverine half scale looked... Stop being a ****.

Not to mention I was responding to someone else... Who the F died and put you in charge???

I even stated that my Child comment was wrong.

I think I have changed my mind... I think I might just continue to post MY OPINIONS about any piece at any scale on this site...

To the rest of you 1/2 and 1/1 scale fans out there.. I apologize if somehow I came across as stating those scales are not collectibles or not nice statues.

That was not my intent. They look great overall and as always collect what you love. I don't care for the scale so I do not collect them. But I do like looking at everything that people collect here at this site. Those that know me know that I don't dump on anyone's collection. Sorry for the ugliness that this turned into. Those that know me also know that that is not my style :) but I also don't care for people telling me I can't post my opinion. Even though I am not a fan of the scale I look forward to seeing pics from people who do.

And so I say cheers :)

Nope. He's on Ignore and I'm done with him. Should never have engaged him in this debate as it was completely pointless. Sorry for everyone who had to suffer through it.

Rafael posted a video showing Vader off and thought i'd post it for you guys. It looks cool but some of the materials used look cheap and not a lot to justify the price point especially no light up saber. Still I do dig it but then again I'll probably never own it too pricey.

Wow... looked lame before (single pose, no lightsaber and considering the price) and looks even worse now...

Even the reviewer is truly not impressed by it...

Seriously SSC, for a character such as Vader, you guys truly dropped the ball big time on this one... I'll keep my IS 1/4 which is 1000 miles from this.

I honestly get the vibe that zero care went into producing this. It's just so painfully mediocre. This will cost almost 4k here in Australia and everything about it screams cheap, rush job.

The head looking the wrong way...WTF were they thinking????

He looks like he's displaying something to a crowd "And over here we have the..."

It's pretty lousy that he's not looking in the direction he was in the prototype photos. This is the only thing that would've saved the awkward pose.

hands look too small and the wrists make it seem like his arms are super long...I would've seriously considered buying this but not anymore...

This does seem like a disappointment. I saw it at celebration last year and was glad I saw it in person. Even though it was the prototype, I didn't like it back then and made me realize I didn't need it. Still not crazy about it after seeing the production version. At this price point and scale makes no reason why they wouldn't give him 2 arms with the alternate being a light up lightsaber. And voice would've been cool. So easy to do on both accounts at this scale. The sound could've simply been in the base.

I was so tempted to want this as a big Vader fan, but kinda glad I don't like it. It would've been hard to convince myself to pony up the cash for this. And if I didn't then it would've forever been on my grail list and I would've regretted picking it up like a few other pieces over the years.

Thanks SS for making a mediocre product... :yess:

Still hoping at some point HT does a killer 1/4 scale. I'll be happy with that. As long as it's from the OT and not ROTS like originally shown.
