Seems like these don't sell out until after they are released if it's a popular figure. HT can increase production numbers up until the very end of a run.

Well I was thinking of waiting for my SSC rewards to settle, then I have around $70, so I"m just waiting till I get $100RP so I can get Thor. Do you think that will be too late? I don't know if this is gonna sell like hotcakes and sell out early.

I wouldn't start getting worried until much closer to the release date. I think you have time.

But another risk/benefit scenario for you. You can't use RPs on a Waitlisted figure, so in the unlikely event it sells out, waiting for RPs would've been futile.

Unless you never plan on ordering a figure from Sideshow again, you could use some of those pending points on another figure, right?

No one can say for certain how these figures will do. Totally understandable. Just keep an eye on it or on the forum around release time for delays or a low stock warning. But as long as you get it around when it finally comes out, you should definitely be okay. I have a feeling it'll be delayed, too, since most everything tends to be.

Thanks for the tip! I'm not usually a Thor fan, but Thor really stood out for me this film so I really want him in my collection.

i have cap & thanos on preorder already from SS, but thor is my most anticipated figure from IW! i loved stormbreaker a lot more than i thought i would

He has no scratch on his face, above and below his eye in the movies, like shown on this head sculpt, but he does look that way on the Infinity War poster. Weird.

Ummm, you mean in your opinion. While I didn't like the design at 1st, it has grown on me. But you can't say it is the best HT Thor, especially if it's not even out yet. And as a Thor fan, it's not even close for me by design. That still is either the DW or AOU versions. They seem to be the closest we will get to a classic comic book looking Thor figure in the MCU.

I never liked the Ultimates Thor and that's what Thor from IW closely resembles. Thor should always have long hair, and the proper Mjolnir, not the Ultimates axe version while giving it the name of Beta Ray Bills's hammer, but whatever. Obviously they needed a weapon with an edge as seen in the movie. His blunt hammer wouldn't have had the same effect in the climactic IW battle ending. But this has grown on me, and I really think I may add him to my Thor collection, especially after seeing IW.

Enjoy YOUR favorite Thor when it comes out. Mine will still be my DW version(s) with his proper look & the one true Mjolnir.
