Now I'm not sure if I should just order from SS or hold out for Toy Dojo to fulfill my order. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to deal him away later, but not sure I wanna 'invest' the money right now. Especially since I'm in CA and would rather save the $30+ on sales tax and shipping.

Right? Isn’t that weird? Everyone hated on his performance, called the PT garbage and now this figure sold more than plenty of OT figures. It baffles me. I thought Star Wars fans hated the prequels.

Just an example of some middle aged vocal fans making a lot of noise thereby giving the impression they are more than they actually are. As time passes their percentage compared to all Star Wars fans will get smaller and smaller. The franchise will be better for it.

Parts of his outfit is black in that promo shoot which is inaccurate to the film.

The pants and boots are still a good bit darker than they are on the figure. The boots definitely are much closer to black in the movie, than brown.

TBH I think it has to do more with the character and his place in the story, as opposed to the quality of the films. Also, TCW helped Anakin's character a lot. I'm not a fan of the prequels (though I love TCW), but I'm still down for Anakin and Obi-Wan. Similar to how some people like the character of Kylo Ren and bought his figure, even if they didn't like TFA.

But yes, the toxic portion of the fanbase that complains about the movies online always makes it seem like a larger group than it is.

I just preordered him from Sideshow, since I missed my first chance and have been regretting it, so I snatched him up right when I saw that he's on preorder again. I've wanted an awesome Anakin figure for over ten years. I'm so excited to get this badass figure.

I have quite a few Hot Toys already, and one 1/4, but this'll be the first Star Wars Hot Toy.

I don't like the PT or how Hayden Christiansen played YA Anakin, but this is figure is pretty cool. I like the posability, especially the ankle pivot. So many 1/6 figs get shorted when the ankles can't move then you're stuck with more limited or awkward-looking dynamic poses. So tempted to get this one and am trying to restrain myself lol.

I seen a lot of collectors do this, they buy a figure just because they like the look of it, but don't like the character. Its just a weird concept to me. I couldn't buy a figure just because it looked cool, i need a connection to it, i need to love the movie and the character. It would be like me buying a JDepp figure from Pirates. i don't really like those movies nor care that much for JDepp character. But those figures look great some of the best likenesses I think, but nothing would make me would want to buy it.

I see it a lot on here. Not making fun of anyone who does that, you have every right to buy anything you want, you can collect anything u want. But its just interesting to me.

While I don’t love the prequels, there’s always been that charm about them since I grew up with them. My least favorite SW movies sure, but I can find things to enjoy in them.

I’m excited about Anakin & Obi-wan, hope they give us Padme and some clones soon.
