My comic shop is having a 40% off sale on select figured and statues and this figure is one of the ones available. I'll be able to get him for $140 USD. Just trying to decide now if he's worth it.

If you are a big GL fan I say go for it. Otherwise save your cash, he will look odd next to all the other figures they are not going to give us.#blewitbigtimewith1/6DC

The figure looks good, but pretty much has no movement in the lower body.

One of Tony's suits improves him drastically.

I'm a massive green lantern fan but the figure itself has never blown me away like others have.

I dunno, I'm already picking up the sideshow punisher figure for 40% off, maybe I'll just stick with that. The sale runs for a week so if he's still there next Wednesday, maybe I'll say **** it and pick him up.

I just got this figure as a "free gift" from Sideshow. I love it. It's made well. It looks great next to my HTs DC Comics figures et. BUT, I don't love the head sculpt. Do any of you know GREEN LANTERN (from the comics) well enough to recommend a better head sculpt for him? I need something with a more realistic face to match the authentic likenesses of the HTs figures. Thanks.

Free gift?!?!

Sideshow is known to give things away, I mean I’ve won Hot Toys man of steel and not el figures before and they sent me a free keychain with an order before. I mean it’s possible they went here take this Green Lantern... to which I say LUCKY!!!!!

I got my head sculpt through Omega Customs. It was sculpted and painted by Chris Caraveo.

Lucky indeed!

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I'm thinking of purchasing this figure and transplanting a Hot toys head onto him (specifically, the Henry Cavill Superman head from Man of Steel.) Does anyone know if it's even possible to transplant a Hot Toys head onto this Sideshow figure? The Cavill head doesn't have a neck attached to it, so judging from the pictures of Green Lantern here, it looks like it might work, but I'm not sure.

You might have to dremel the neck hole a bit bigger, but should fit without issue.

That's cool. I'm even willing to glue the head on if I have to, as I keep my figures in museum poses anyway and I don't particularly need him to be able to turn his head. I just want to make sure the Hot Toys head doesn't look unnatural sitting on top of a Sideshow neck.

There shouldn’t be an issue. I have the BVS Superman and can pop the head on the body to show you a picture of what it looks like.
