Oh no they thought about it, they just hate Robin because it's unrealistic to serious and brooding man in bat costume.

Once you understand how out of touch Mezco is, you'll understand the frustration of us few.

I think the 2004 DC Direct version scales best and has the best sculpt. Not articulated, but looks awesome standing there.

It's nice how well most DCD figures have aged.

I still have my Alex Ross Justice Superman, and even though it's virtually a statue, it still out-looks Mezco figures in many aesthetic aspects, same goes for my Dr. Manhattan.

Because he only wanted fodder for Darkseid, so I suggested the cheap version, since it's not worth paying even retail price for that crappy Mezco Superman.

Anyone is better off waiting for them to redo Superman.

Ok dude, seriously, how is it Mezco fans have no taste or discernment? That is uncalled for. Whether or not you like Mez using their own designs is one thing, bit these figures are OBJECTIVELY good. The sculpt and paint is always solid, the articulation is usually good. In most cases they provide more accessories than most other companies do. I mean, come on man. Tell me with a straight face that the 1/12 Red Skull isnt the best Red Skull weve gotten from any company in years. Tell me that the Deathstroke isnt one of the best Deathstrokes weve ever gotten. You dont like the suit, fine, but it is a solid action figure, the slade sculpt is literally unrivaled by official product and it just oozes the imposing nature of the character. And we'll get a Robin.... for sure we will get a Robin... and itll be the best Robin weve gotten in a long time too. Theres a market for these figures, a much larger market than simply doing classic renditions. Saying those who like their non classic stuff have no taste is unnecessary and kinda selfish.

Well said Also thought I’d point out that no “validation” should be necessary in a thread title Mezco One 12... this is where we discuss the line it’s ok to voice opinion, but it’s another thing to just flat out tell everyone in the thread that their tastes are wrong. Lol.

Gasper, I understand and appreciate the passion we all have foe these figures. I also understand its frustrating that they kinda just abandoned the TDKR line. I believe a lot of people on this board in particular kinda seem to just forgive mezco when they do dumb stuff, and I too am guilty of that. But I don't think generalizing and saying mezco fans have bad taste is constructive, and it doesn't help mezco produce better figures. I enjoy having users around who can see past the "cool" vision and criticize them when necessary so I'm not attacking you. I just feel like we should be criticizing mezcos product more and comparing them to other lines in a constructive way and getting better figures for it. Mezco should be doing robin, they should be doing some classic stuff in addition to their own designs. We all love action figures here guys, we're all here for the same reason. We gotta stick together.

It’s a really great figure, but at this point you’d have to get lucky to acquire one for a reasonable price.

Yeah...until the exclusives hit and everyone will want those too unless it’s a dud like Miles was/is.

It’s cool. I’ll have to pay the exorbitant price on eBay, then resell SDCC exclusives to offset the cost...past that expense on to someone else. Did the same thing last year for the Classic Punisher...worked like a charm. Had the exclusives sold before I left San Diego.

I see it’s not on their website. I wonder if it’s going up? Isn’t this the figure guys were paying through the nose to get?!?! $2500+??? Someone here spent a grand on one! Tell me this isn’t the same figure! Tell me Mezco didn’t screw their fans like that!!!
