Metal Gear Solid Customs Thread: SUBSISTENCE

we all had stiff elbows. hair dryer or a mug of hot water and dunk the arms for a couple of mins. work the joint until it loosens. i took the jacket and tshirt off to do mine in hot water, it did the trick.

Don't get me wrong.
Head sculpt and all clothing and accessories are beautifully done.
All joints seem fine except for the elbow and wrist. Yes. left side wrist is stuck as well. Hot water won't do much.
I might just replace the body all together at this point.

I got mine with extremely stiff elbows, damn near stuck in place.
A little and long warming with a hair dryer loosened them up, but they are still rather stiff.

If i knew what type of body would be a good replacement/backup, id one as a just in case measure.
But i dont move mine around too much...basically stick all my figures in a museum pose.

most likely the Narrow Shoulder Rubber upper body & neck Copy you can get on ebay real cheap. nowadays most 3rd parties use those bodies since they are cheap and close to Hot Toys body.

No worries. Replaced the body already and he's all good.
Those elbows and wrist joints were brittle as glass. Wrong material was used!

we just said something tonight, he cant be around all the time. the reason is he has a life.

Are you talking about the metal boss figure? If yes, then I agree. I think the one that I posted is a retool of the metal boss sculpt or a new sculpt all together using the hair and bandana

what beef? i've order his product too. his constant updates here and sudden silence is abit worrying that is all. for those that sold their customs.

I'd imagine us asking him for constant feedback and etc would have scared him off haha.

All he did was design it. He does owe anyone any kind of explaination about anything. He doesn't own Limtoys or the factory that made the figure so I am not really sure what you are wanting. As for people selling their customs I am not really sure why your are concerned as you have no horse in that race.
