You clearly didn't read my post so there is really no sense even going on with you. Why bother having a discussion with people if they can't take the time to properly read posts? As my post CLEARLY stated in the SSAlex quotes that I listed, Sideshow DID list Obi Wan as sold out as they had to cease production of the run due to factory capacity issues. Once the factory was able to continue the production of the run, Sideshow did just that and finished producing the entire edition, which is the basis of this entire debate, that Sideshow completes their editions and Obi Wan had its complete edition produced. It took a bit longer than Sideshow initially anticipated, but they still wound up finishing the complete edition.

And yes, I will continue to believe representatives of a company, especially one as well respected as SSAlex from Sideshow, over misc internet users that have absolutely ZERO proof to back up thier claims. That's not drinking the Kool-Aid. That's just pure common sense. One of the single worst aspects of the internet is the sheer number of people running around thinking thier opinions are fact even tho the have absolutely zero proof or zero data to back up those opinions. I won't even visit movie forums any more due to the sheer number of people running around thinking thier subjective opinions are fact. People that don't understand the basic concept of subjectivity shouldn't even be allowed to post on message boards.

THE TMNT COMs were never finished, the modern Thor PF ES was reduced, and the Obi Wan run was cut short for whatever reason and then finished. Sideshow does play around with their edition sizes, WL, and sold out status (among other things). THAT was my point and I don't even care that they do. Every business looks out for their bottom line. If you wish to take the word of any rep who will recite the company line, then continue to do so. It's no skin off my teeth. I find it ironic that you talk about the basic concept of subjectivity but yet you regularly get into mix ups with other members and get banned at other forums. But hey, carry on. I'm actually cool with whatever you post because I have no issue with people expressing their thought and opinions. Even if I don't agree with them or like them.

They're just statues of comic book characters. Geez.

Well I do have to work many hard hours at my minimum wage job at a grocery store to get these. So it is blood and sweat for me to get these. Sometimes it take me 6 months just to get one of these at these new double rising prices now. It's not easy that's for sure. This is also the money for my rent, bills, basically my life money.

Too many words.

I can't even read two pages of a comic book. So yes it's a bit much for me to understand. Maybe if we can get a option to record messages and just play them like a narrator in. movies in the future that may work.

Everyone else already got the recall notice end of last year and they all got their replacement pieces with magnet this month. check your spam folder, you may have missed it... hope it's not too late for you :(

You're joking right? I would be so mad if this is true. :dunno

In regards to the whole legal aspects of what I was talking about, here is part of California's law pertaining to limited editions:

"California law provides for disclosure in writing of information concerning certain fine prints, photographs, and sculptures prior to effecting a sale of them. This law requires disclosure of such matters as the identity of the artist, the artist's signature, the medium, whether the multiple is a reproduction, the time when the multiple was produced, use of the plate which produced the multiple, and the number of multiples in a "limited edition." If a prospective purchaser so requests, the information shall be transmitted to him or her prior to payment, or the placing of an order for a multiple. If payment is made by a purchaser prior to delivery of the multiple, this information will be supplied at the time of or prior to delivery, in which case the purchaser is entitled to a refund if, for reasons related to matter contained in such information, he or she returns the multiple in the condition in which received, within 30 days of receiving it. In addition, if after payment and delivery, it is ascertained that the information provided is incorrect, the purchaser may be entitled to certain remedies, including refund upon return of the multiple in the condition in which received."

As this law clearly states, if a company producing a limited edition print, photograph, or sculpture/statue winds up releasing information regarding that limited edition that is inaccurate, and that clearly includes edition size, the buyer may be entitled to certain remedies including a refund. Given that Sideshow is based out of California, I can guarantee that they are well aware of these limited edition laws. This is likely why Sideshow offered a refund to people that ordered their limited edition prints thinking they had real signatures. The fact that these laws are in place and that fact that Sideshow would have no reason not to inform collectors if they stopped a production run of statues early....well, it makes absolutely NO sense at all to think that Sideshow would wind up breaking this law just so they wouldn't have to inform collectors that a production run was stopped early and thus update the edition size of that statue so it remains accurate. So this, coupled with the fact that SSAlex confirmed that Sideshow does in fact complete all of their editions, should be more than enough to convince people that Sideshow does complete all of their editions, at least for the people that have basic common sense. Again, collectors would deem a smaller edition size a good thing so it makes absolutely ZERO sense to think that Sideshow would put themselves at risk in regards to breaking California's limited edition laws just so they wouldn't have to inform collectors of something that they would ultimately deem a positive thing.

Too many words.

Sure, for people that no longer read book's and are used to single sentence posts that could be posted by a 6 year old. And it doesnt change the message of the post. People that think Sideshow just ceases production runs mid way are living in la la land. Common sense really is a rare thing these days. The fact that almost half the people that voted actually put Trump in the white house is 100% proof of that fact.

The old political dig on a toy forum gag..

I'd say we've gone just a wee off topic here, so in an effort to get back on track here's a quick pic (apologies for the terrible lighting)
