Got the little guy today.

It was straight into the Ravager suit for him. He put up quite a fight and for a while I thought I'd never get him into it.

Grumpy face too.

The stand is an odd choice, but I'm not going to use it as he's well planted on those big feet. A bespoke short crotch grabber would have been better.

I stood him with GOTG2 Star-Lord and Rocket, and the mind plays tricks because I can't help but see him as somehow 1/6. (He should really be placed somewhere else!)

looks good so far...
personally i think the eyes need some rework. a little more angry. the brow needs more angular look to it... more of a steep angle if that makes sense.

this is more the look i'd think is more appropriate

This guy is a great display addition! Great pics fellow Freaks!
Fun and cute and it's great to see all the photos of him and how others are displaying it. One of my favorite parts is when he just waves, so I posed him that way and put him next to my other Marvel 1:1 stuff. Now will they make a 1:1 fin? The thumb is a great idea!

He looks awesome but I don't think I'll be displaying him next to my 1/6 stuff. Probably just have him hang around the living room or kitchen just doing as he pleases.

He's not necessarily a collection piece IMO. I've only got 1/6 figures so definitely doesn't fit, but my Groot hangs out next to my computer. On my desk. Wherever...

Even the normal 1/6 Groot hung around for a while. Now that being said this certainly has a bit of a different market vying for it as well...but as someone who preordered the day he went up fearing he would sell out quick - I think you'll be safe eyeing around a bit.
