Sadly this is too often the case, just look at the say the Rogue PF, which was amazing
if you paid extra for pros to undo and correct what SS put in the box
I look at my Snow Day Lara Croft which has an really nice paint job, attention to detail is on point. Vs lets say my PF black widow, which I do love, but has the 'boob cleavage paint glob issue'

- Minor thing, but should be avoided.
Credit where it's due, they do sometimes get it right, such as Jane Foster, which in my case was faultless, and had a great paint app.
Not to say someone couldn't do better, (wouldn't that always be the case) but is a fair justification of price paid, vs a product turning up which you are unhappy and then effectively having to re-buy the item again just to get it too look half decent / pull a massive salvage job.
I'm really glad I didn't pre-order this one.
