To be honest, the stock photos do make it look a lot better. It's very misleading, as the final product looks almost like a knock-off version.

I seriously hope you find some form of resolution.

Yeah it is misleading. I'm gonna sit on it for a few days before making a decision.

Normally I would be straight onto sideshow. I really wanted a 1/4 endo though, for a display I had planned in my theatre room. This was the missing piece. That plan is now screwed.

Prime 1's would be too big.

I get mine today, I will do video unboxing and 4k in good lighting, so watch out on my channel

Got mine last night. Took some quick pics with my phone. I understand where xplosive is coming from on a lot of points but he does grow on you rather quickly once you get him properly set up and overall I think I'm satisfied enough to keep him. It's just for the price you gotta be a HUGE fan of Terminator and 1:4 scale endos in particular.

He does pair up nicely with the Arnold T800.

I really want a 1/4 or 1/3 Endo to join my HT one, but for now not 100% convinced on this. I like some things about it, but don't like others (see through head lights and dull pain especially) - I don't mind being made of plastic. Still need to see more pics. Or wait for Prime 1 version.

Yes, I think he looks good. I used to think that the clean chrome look is the only way to go for an Endo (like the HT 1/4), however, having seen T1 again recently, I like the more weathered, less reflective look better.

Give this man a cigar!!!!!! It always drives me nuts that everyone wants a bright shiny walking stick figure. It has to be right off the assembly line and it has to move like a rusty Tin Man. Endos move like humans which is what makes this pose so nice. I like shiny too, but not every time. I just really wanted this to be a correct T1 and now it's not even an incorrect T1. Come on Prime 1.

Looking forward to your thoughts bro.

Glad to see that you like him dude. I think he is very dependant on lighting. When I saw it in natural light I liked it a lot.

Nice to hear your thoughts on it Kitana. The comparison with the bust really enforces my earlier points, And highlights what this should have been. The paintjob on the bust is perfect. Not too shiny, but still looks like dirty metal. That's what this statue should have been. It's still ok, but does not display well under artificial lights IMO, as they make the paint look too flat.

Agree about the base, it's my favourite part of the statue, and the sculpt is definitely great. With a professional repaint this would look sick.

The body does actually have some polystone on it, even though it feels really light. If you tap on the thighs, pelvis, chest and upper arms, you'll notice it makes a different sound compared to when you tap on the plastic parts. It's probably just hollow polystone.

Nice review, thanks for sharing. I had/have a hell of time getting that skull open to turn on the eyes too. Now go look over at the unboxing video for the Iron Giant maquette that was just posted in the other thread. TOUCH SENSITIVE LIGHT UP EYES FEATURE. Just tap the head. I kid you not.

I canceled my order a couple weeks ago but I think it looks pretty good overall outside of the under-bite and paint application on the teeth.

Lol that actually made me laugh. I thought I was going to break mine. Ridiculously strong magnet where it didn't need to be, meanwhile I have some other pieces from sideshow where hands have literally fallen off due to weak magnets, lol.

There's no underbite. At least not on mine. The teeth are perfect.

I may end up picking this up down the road.
I will have to get used to the pose first.

I know right. That one magnet is crazy. I might try putting a layer of something between to soften the intensity of it. I'm afraid I'm going to break something in pulling it off every time. The teeth thing is a weird angle illusion thing because they actually line up perhaps a little too perfectly with a slight space between. Realistically they should have given more of an overbite.

Now I know how Sideshow got this to look so good in their pics. Seems to look best when it's lit up from multiple angles. Just took these with my phone.
