Get it guys. The attention to detail is fantastic.

Ok, so I sat with home for a couple of days and here’s what I think.

These are all tiny nitpicks. [emoji51]

I did get the head to go down but I am starting to think the cape could have been done slightly better. I would have preferred a cape that was heavier, allowing it to fall straight down.

I’m not liking the lightsaber and hands out poses. Looks odd with the way the lightsaber and hand are bent to the side that way. I prefer him with both hands on the saber, or with the closed right and left hand out to point, choke or grab. [emoji23]

So that’s it. He’s a great statue. I luv em!

Agreed. Two hands on the lightsaber or use the fisted option for the right hand... and that's only because the one handed lightsaber hold has it pointed in a funky position.
My favorite, however, is fisted right hand and force choke left hand. :rock

Sounds like you are justifying it to yourself for not getting one. If I am wrong....then I am sorry. No need to explain yourself.

Nah, I follow statue releases but for my collecting have moved on to prop replicas entirely. Just offered an opinion and some advice that's apparently unpopular. Some advice that'll probably be better received: anyone with any interest in this should grab one while it's only $1000, it's a perfect centerpiece to a collection, Sideshow won't be making anything better in the foreseeable future, and prices will probably be closer to double the MSRP before long. I wouldn't compound the mistake by waiting a second time.

I've never been in to Star Wars massively but if this was still in stock and had I seen it previously I would have ordered it, there's so much precense with it. To me as a general fan it sums up the franchise brilliantly as a display piece.

I finally had a day, with nothing to do. So, I steamed Vaders capes. Wow, what difference! I didn't think the small wrinkles bothered me.... but I'm glad they're gone now!
I'd take photos, but my cold medicine is knocking me out as I type.

Nice! Post pictures when you get a chance please :wink1:

Finally got him!

Need some help though...

Is the right foot peg suppose to slide right into the base?
It's a very snug fit and the bottom of the boot isn't even touching the base yet.
I mean, I can still see the block that's suppose to fit into the cutout in the base.

It’s pretty tight. I would say I had to push pretty firmly and def no wobble once in like Premium Formats. Just apply moderate pressure and as long as it’s moving u should be good.

Thank you!

I was able to push the boot down a bit more. However, the middle of his boot is still about 3mm from the base.

I had the same problem. Wasn’t going in. I wasn’t going to slam it in like I’ve seen some do on YouTube [emoji23]

Took me a few attempts. It has to go in just right.

Thank you Gin.

The hype to this thing is warranted.
This piece is legit!
I haven't been this excited about a 1/4 statue in a very long time.

...and it's Darth Vader too! :rock

After 40 years of collecting, and as each day goes by living with this thing, I'd go so far as to say it is the definitive Star Wars collectible. It captures the feeling of the movies in a single form, better than anything I have ever seen or owned.

(Yes, even better than my MR Falcon :horror)

Iron Studio will reveal on their panel at the CCXP 2017 Convention whats next in their 1/4 scale star wars line ! :)

PS: nice pictures Mandible.. and I have to agree with you.. stella statue !
