I’d guess with it being a holiday weekend that this goes up Monday. Curious what the cost will be. I have a feeling with it being Vader and that desirable Bespin base that it’ll be as much as the original release. Which I think was like $280.

Yeah def Monday. Though I'm hoping for tonight. :)

Can't wait to see this in my order list.

I don't think you're wrong, but I'm hoping for $250. My thoughts go back to the Japanese conversion rate. ¥29,000 is about $243. My bet is they round up to $249.99.

Just me or is the helmet too short? I knew looking at him there was something else off besides the widows peak. Turns out the helmet flare is quite smaller, I do recall from both ESB and Jedi his helmet from behind would cover the top of his neck.

$299 at least. Hope I'm wrong. That's my guess. As for the selected markets, they say that with all of their figures. For hot toys, selected markets means the planet earth.

my logic is the price of R1 Vader originally plus a splash more for accessories and interest. Remember no light up saber or exclusive light up base came with R! and he was 250.00.
On second thought- I think we may be looking at 299.00. :(

Honestly, I prefer Sideshow's deluxe version over this one. A lot of the proportions just seem awkward for some reason. And the lack of face sculpt (regardless of reasoning) seems cheap.

Whaat? SS dropped the ball so hard on their deluxe - if they got the face right it would probably still be the grail Vader, the mouth is wayyy oversized on the SS one, I remember opeing the box and thinking this just doesnt look like Vader. Besides that tho it was a very solid figure, slim arms didnt bother me.

I'm just hoping that this means a re-release or 2.0 of Bespin Luke. I could never justify the 2nd hand pricing, and I wouldn't have the space for the antenna display anyway...

I hope to see a 2.0 version also...I sold my original Bespin Luke, and have regretted it ever since...That has always been my favorite version of Luke, even more so than the Jedi Luke...

There is NO WAY that the price in Japan is going to be less than in the United States. Every Hot Toys release in Japan exceeds the price offered in the USA between $20-60. Why is that the case? Probably higher tariffs.

The Rogue One Vader was ¥35,000 here. ESB Vader is ¥29,000. That’s probably the difference you’ll see Stateside when it comes to pricing.

For real? SS Deluxe is a failed try. The slim small hands alone are terrible.
