I have to disagree. Halloween 3 is an awesome flick. It just shouldn't have been titled "Halloween 3." It's an excellent standalone horror film, it just shouldn't have been part of the Halloween series...

Agreed.
That's the only problem with the movie. If they didn't associate it with the Halloween franchise it would have been more widely accepted/enjoyed.

About H3, my opinion is a little skewed because I've only seen it once and was disappointed that it had nothing to do with Michaela Myers. It's been over a decade, so I'll give it another shot based on your recommendation. Thanks!

You totally should. I think it's a very good Halloween-THEMED horror flick. It was just a poor decision trying to title is as part of the series...
Much like Friday the 13th - the TV series had absolutely nothing to do with the horror movies whatsoever. That always pissed me off. But I enjoyed the series.

Besides having michael be part of the illuminati or whatever and beaten with a pipe at the end was WAY worse than halloween 3

Well, today was pretty much a bust on Sideshow's part. I guess most of the prizes must have been claimed, since they didn't seem to give away very much today. And I really thought they'd give one code today, for Halloween, but NOPE! Nothin...

I missed the "illuminati" comment at first. Too funny... Yeah, that storyline was pretty weak... I still enjoyed them, but I agree that Halloween 3 is a better film than the later sequels...

I was a fan of slashers films but because they were cheesy. Halloween 1 and 2 are heavy films deep down. Halloween III is classic 80's cheese to the core with a really ****ed up undertone.
