Great pic! :clap :rock

thinking about changing up my Farmboy pose and wondered if anyone has had any luck doing a pose with Luke readying his grappling hook?

I think I remember the only one run on one version (Farmboy or Trooper) had a line that was meant to be deployed, though not sure it ever really worked. Anyone get this to work?

The grapple hook line can be deployed on the Luke Trooper. I've never tried fearing I won't be able to reel it back in or it disconnect.

It was indeed the stormtrooper version, even though that makes no sense. I know wor-gar had luck using that one for that pose.

Thanks. Good to know. If I try it I'll use the one that came with the stormtrooper version then. I'd love to see what wor-gar, or anyone else, managed to do.

The Sideshow Exclusive version of Farmboy Luke had a stormtrooper belt and grappling hook...
I have it, but haven't tried using it yet... Reckon you might find one on-line somewhere?

Thanks, I have the exclusive version, and I also have the Stormtooper Luke, so I have two grappling hooks. It sounds like the trooper version is the one to try and deploy some line with. I'm just curious if others had any success before I tried and what kind of poses they were able to use with him handling the grappling hook.

Oh, right... Sorry, I misunderstood... :slap

Reckon I'm gonna go turn the empty figure box room (erm... my "study"!!) inside out now and take a look if mine works too... Totally forgot I had it!!!

Only the Trooper Luke version works. The Tatooine version is glued.

I got the working one from TonTon here...

Looking at this ..everything's perfect except for that awful Head sculpt..seriously what was HT thinking :gah:

When I heard Budget Stark's interview with the HT sculptor saying that they have a hard time getting the likeness with Caucasian females for their superhero females why is it the opposite for the SW line how can they not get Hamill's ANH Luke and Ford's Han down, yet their Leia is spot on Fisher :thud:

And then you look how they did TFA and Jedi Luke..you have to think WTF :lecture

It's the main thing keeping me from this figure. Even the Jnix sculpt looks weird and that's miles better.

I hope someone will give it another crack and get it right.

Just a terrible cell phone snap, but I kinda liked it...

I'm the other way around. The HT one is off but is better than the Jnix sculpt.

I think it all depends on the angle for the Jnix sculpt. I like the Quigon pic here. If you can display it in your case with one of the better angles I think it beats the HT pretty easily. But then if you move it while dusting, yikes!

Yeah, Jnix's sculpt almost looks like Hamill's face partly melted in a frying pan - bits of great likeness but not connected right.

The HT Luke face isn't bad, but as davejames says, that copper half-watermelon that takes up about 2/3's of the head is just awful (even though the hair sculpt detail is really good.)
