Have you decided which one you'd go with?

No, hahaha... from everything I'm reading, Acrylic is cheaper and it breaks/scratches easily but it's more clear than glass or Lexan as they have a tint to them.
Also says Lexan scratches easily but doesn't say directly if it's better than acrylic, also says Lexan can turn yellow if exposed to sunlight overtime.
Lexan is really durable aside from scratches though.

Acrylic does scratch but only if your intentionally rubbing things along it, it's far superior to glass for reflection and protection for your display item.
Not biased in anyway but I wouldn't touch Lexan

anyone tried to make it into a rc car?

someone did it for the camo tumbler and he simply added a rc car transmission, an axle, and a steering servo for the front steering wheels.

Yeah, I may go with acrylic with an abrasion resistant coating... I just want it to last.

Personnaly i ordered an acrylique display case with a black base from sora shop two years ago and i'm plenty satisfied! But i confirm they do not ship in US. Only Europe.
For the scratches honestly it happened on mine when i passed to close with something in my pockets but with toothpath, i always succeed to remove them. Really solid and easy to clean.

I think I'm going to with acrylic. Just need to find someone here in Arizona who does great work at great prices. That's a challenge in itself :lol Also, where did you get that cool looking name plate for yours Rondesmo?

They will ship to the US but you have to request a quote from them.

Oh it is just a sticker printed on an adhesive paper. I did the montage on Paint.
It is not definitive. I think of making an aluminium graved plate.

Have you guys tried VuPlex on your acrylic cases? curious, thinking of buying some even though it's like $50 for a bottle, lol.

Looking to buy this finally. Seems scarce!

Get it man
You won't be disappointed, it's one of the best if. It the best thing hot toys have done-for me at least.
Batman standing beside it in a display case at the top of my landing and everyone that comes in my house spends ages looking at it
