Yeah I do not think Disney cares about showing skin in a certain way....

I doubt they have any issues.....even Slave Leia would be ok contrary to rumors and internet nonsense.

I love my ssc maul, he's absolutely amazing. There is a little bit of artistic license in the face though, it's not spot on. I think it makes him look even more intimidating, but for someone who's concerned with the sculpt being dead on they could wait for the inevitable hot toys.

I'm def in for this anakin... But I don't want any more PT stuff... Don't be tempted by obi wan....

All I need now is Padme in the aotc white ripped suit and I'll never need another girlfriend.. lol

All Hot Toys needs to do is make their Maul without the atrocious exposed neck joint and they immediately surpass Sideshow's Maul.

I would imagine an HT Maul would come with a jointed neck same as Sideshow because of how the character behaved on screen and providing poseability in a figure to match it.

I wonder if this sculpt could potentially benefit even more from rooted hair? I was doing a search on Google Images and came across this:

And it looks really good to me.

Rooted hair would make this a no buy for me. I wonder if the rooted hair fans are just people who like combing doll hair.

Custom rooted hair can look good with proper work, but there's a big leap between custom rooted hair and mass production rooted hair.

In my opinion, rooted hair only works if sculpted hair would be long enough to potentially hinder the articulation.

There's obviously exceptions. Thor doesn't really need rooted hair at all. At least, my Dark World figure doesn't.

Definitely would not want rooted hair on most short haired males.

Please god. Dont let hot toys screw this sculpt up in production ala anh luke lol. Hes so glorious. Painful waiting so long to get him and jedi luke and endor luke, leia.
