There's always hope that they'll also do the green costume in some fashion.

I miss the days when figures like Red Skull came with two costumes. That would be great if this figure came with both the blue costume and the green costume from the trailer.

An exclusive with the green costume is what I see, but I wouldn't count on it.

There's what? Three people that prefere blue?

You can try like hundreds before but you'll always get the same response from Hot Toys.

They're a company that sticks to their wants. Nobody except the licensors will tell them otherwise

This uniform for Loki actually looks a bit vapid to me. I much prefer the ornate look of his previous suits. Will stick with TDW version.

I think this one looks a lot more detailed than TDW and it stands out against the it and Avengers, which is a plus to me.

Though I would still hands down buy a Thor 1 Loki.

I think a lot of us here were hoping for this figure to be a worthy substitute for The Avengers version - which I knew was impossible after seeing how Loki appears in the Ragnarok trailer. Since when does Marvel ever make a character look 100% the same as they previously did? There have to be slight alterations with their costumes throughout every film because... merchandise. This is the whole reason why I refused to wait and see what this figure looked like when deciding whether or not I should pay the aftermarket prices for the original version.

I still think this figure will succeed in what it's supposed to do - represent Loki's appearance in Ragnarok. The true faults originate from the design of the costume in the film, not necessarily Hot Toys' execution of that design. Same thing goes for TDW Loki - it was inferior to the original release because Loki's appearance in The Dark World was already inferior to his look in The Avengers.

This. And watching YT vids a lot of the figs have something about "subject to approval/talent approval" on the signs. Don't know if HT would listen but seems there's time - if there will be only one Loki release - to at least complain to HT via FB or other. Heck, folks at SDCC could say something.

But I need a Loki and I'm in for this one. Helmet, knives, Tesseract. I can over-dye costume if I have to.

Pretty sure the green is going to be exclusive next year. They probably can't release yet since it might come with plot-revealing accessories.

I don't care that he's wearing blue, I just wish HT made the other costume he wears rather than this one.

That is the lamest looking Loki costume yet in my opinion. At least it looked a little better in green, as we even saw in the trailer. Don't get this blue crap. Oh well, I just saved a bunch of $$$$ ...

Guess I'll never have a Loki in my collection. Here's hoping for IW!!!

Good pictures GZL, thank you! I'm ok with the blue since I own Avengers Loki, DW Loki and a kit bash I did with his suit, cane and fancy scarf.

I'm getting used to the blue, which I suppose works out to the same thing I don't need another Loki, but I'm looking forward to seeing it in the movie.

I think the blue is a cool change and goes with the aesthetic of the film, just not sure it translates into a great 1/6 figure. But I have the Avengers Loki and that's really the only one I need. So I can focus on Gladiator Thor and Hela for this film.
