What's the significance of 1/72 scale? Is that studio scale? Is the Bandai Falcon something we'll have to assemble (or worse, paint) ourselves?

I'm happy to see a Tarkin renaissance.
For decades he seemed like the forgotten villain. Then ROTS revived his memory... and RO expanded his evilness to new heights. He finally has more screen time than Jabba and Fett.

It will be ~18.5" long meticulously detailed recreation of the ANH model. 1:72 means it will be 2x the dimensions of the previous Bandai kit, but the detail is sooo much more. 650 pieces.

He and Krennic are the only major baddies that didn't die screaming. But Tarkin still wins because Krennic *knew* he was beaten before he died.
