Oh, I understand.
I was simply trying to imply that a Terminator might react similarly (evasive) in the past as well if one would aim a rocket launcher at it. However, it's impervious to regular gunfire.
yep! also note how differently it moves in a motel (where it shoots an empty bed) - probably by that time it completely realised that Reese is from the future, and it has to attack Reese's base after a long tactical pause, so it expected either proper resistance or even traps.
that's a very different story of speed, movement, cautiousness than what he did while slaughtering policemen. and very close to future terminator movements.
hmmm. to think of it, Reese was the only person throughout the movie that terminator tried to eliminate with some kind of panic speed movements. maybe it realised from the beginning that the only one who can be against Sarah's termination by that point must be from the future, too, and thus potentially a lot more dangerous that police forces.

or it was just angry about his fresh clean intact-a-moment-ago flesh cover that Reese ruined.

In one of the futurewar scenes in T2, we also see a downed Endo get taken out by a few plasma shot of a resistance fighter.

an already downed, immobilized, broken, torn to parts, probably by a grenade launcher, Endo, that can already move only one hand, shot from a super close distance with no known effect :lecture
obviously it had to have effect of course, otherwise why would soldiers use those guns.

Ah....the golden era of cinema.
What I would give to have this kind of quality in movies again.

If anything becomes of Cameron's return to Terminator, HT might revisit the line. Maybe then we'll get an endo that's worth while.

Alien Covenant has a similar problem made worse by it being a ''prequel'' - where if you actually take it as canon and watch it in chronological sequence with the original film, you're going to see the primary threat of the 1979 film being dispatched in mere minutes in a ''previous'' film.

This also happened with Rogue One. Someone showed me the ending sequence and it's laughable to think that mere minutes after that in ANH the best Vader can do is grab a guy and choke him.

Modern-day filmmakers attempting to follow up or interlink their efforts with established works would do well to look up the concept of "verisimilitude".

It seems like current gen of 3D is dying out fast .
It's all 4K and will be glass-less 3D very soon.

True. Aren't there 4K TVs that support 3D though? I know there's quite a few 4K played that can play blu ray 3ds.

Ah crap. I really wanted this. I could live with the inaccuracies but unless this is the endo of Andre the Giant, it has no place in my Terminator collection. What were they thinking? :slap

The Endo has no place but you have that abomination?

I truly don't understand the support for that TV show around here. The acting is F'ing horrible.

The only thing I can think, is that he/she is mistaking this for a NECA 7 inch figure of some kind. He/She is selling other NECA figures for about that price... I may pull the trigger. I should be able to be refunded by Ebay if there is an issue....

I saw that ridiculously low price too, but I have tried for deeply slashed HT prices before and I just end up getting my money back from Ebay. Logically, there is no way this guy could be selling this figure for this price. But if you decide to pull the trigger, please let us know how it goes...

Yeah I can't see the seller honoring that price. Worth a shot though, worse case scenario you get your money back.

I pulled the trigger on it.... at worst, I go through the hassle of getting money back from EBay. At best, I get some kind of crazy unrealistic discount. I figure it's like betting on McGregor in the upcoming Mayweather/McGregor fight....

This is nice, if didn't have the 1/4 version I would buy it to go with my 1/6 Arnie.
