You all are so macho- is it only talk or is it real when you guys say "Oh man, I would have so taken that guy down!" What's with this fighting instinct you all have, seems to me it's not really your job to fight for woman or in general. This is why we live in a civilized society.

Either way this is fake. IF it wasn't I could understand someone wigging out like that...I totally could. Just like you guys have the instinct to become fighting caveman, this man just couldn't take being told what to do anymore. Same ^^^^ing shirt and slacks and tie everyday, always working for nothing. ^^^^ man, I am proud of this guy for standing up to the corporate world. I wouldn't have taken him down I would have walked away and let him do his thing. Let him get it out of his system. these people are stupid for standing around and watching, that's why they got hurt.

You better believe I won't stop any fights- I will run. It's a much smarter thing to do. I don't get paid to fight for anyone but myself.

Well, I for one have been in more fights than I choose to remember. A couple of which didnt even involve me. If I see something that I feel I need to do something about, I do. If that had happened at my work and one of my male coworkers threw a computer screen at one of my female coworkers I would step in and do something. Period. I think it is an instinctive part of a person. It just depends on what kind of person you are. Some people see others in distress and step in to help, others choose to run and/or do nothing. Its just the type pf person you are.

Now a conflict between 2 complete strangers is totally different. You have no clue what has lead up to this and what either person is capable of. Stepping into a situation you know nothing about is typically much more dangerous,IMO. But within the context of the real/fake video above you can bet your ass I would have stopped the guy.

2 years ago at my work one of our officers got into a fight with a truck driver, the driver pretty much man handle the officer and was able to get one clean shot on him, pretty much knocked him cold. Everyone stood around like a bunch of jackasses and watched, not me. The officer was on his back with the guy on top getting ready to regein down blows on him. I got there before he could and jumped on the dude and got him off the officer. The officer came to, got up and drew down on the guy. With a gun in his face the guy stopped his ^^^^. But the point is that everyone just stood there, watching a cop get beat up, and it would have gotten much worse if I had not stepped in when I did.

Its just the type of person I am.

Your case is different in my opinion. Someone was in immediate physical danger and you stepped in to help. Completely normal and honestly a noble move.

The case in the video I view differently. Yes a lady did get hit but after that everyone could have just vacated the office and let the guy go to town. No need for further violence. I don't get the heroism when it comes to saving office supplies. The fact is everyone stood around waiting to get hurt. They should have left and then the conflict would have been over.

My problem is with the guys who are always quick to react with their fists and not think things through. There was no need to stick around and watch a guy demolish a fax machine. His beef was obviously with his job and not with anyone else.

:lol :lol :lol :lol

"NNNOOOOOOOOOOOO, thats my stapler mother^^^^er!!!!!" :rotfl

Yeah, I see what you mean about everyone standing around waiting to get punched in the face like jackasses.

But when he chunked the computer screen that would have been a good time to step in.

personally if i saw something going down out in the street or in public i would just walk away. no need to get involved or possibly killed over something i know nothing about. if something went down where i worked, which i doubt would ever happen, i may step in. but then again i hate some of my co workers so i may just watch.

I would have just taken a ^^^^ in my bosses desk, then burned the building down after closing :rock

Yeah, after that initial computer throwing, (which by the way didn't look like a deliberate attempt to hurt anyone) would have been a good time to hold this guy down. After that though, if nothing had happened I would have tried to grab the lady and said time to go! :lol

Then after the whole debacle, the office would have been in shambles which means a few free days off. :rock that guy is the real hero! :lol

well if it was a swingline i might get involved but otherwise...

I remember when I took a self defense course in college. The guy had been in the Marines and he was also a retired officer. He told us the best self defense is running. Never engage in a fight unless you absolutely have to. If you do engage in a fight you are in some trouble. Not only in immediate danger but you are also responsible for what damage you do to the other person. If you accidently kill or permanently injure a person in any form of combat, even self defense, you can be arrested and sentenced in court. A lot of people don't know this. It doesn't take much to permanently injure someone either. Maybe a kick to the kneecap or a spearhand to the eyes. :lecture

I have found people are less inclined to fight a naked person. So if you find yourself in trouble get naked.

On the break.com site a poster commented "Fake" and on second viewing I'd tend to agree - neither of the large monitors he picks up and throws have any kind of cord coming off of them.

It would explain why the guys would just stand around like that.

And another thing... those are CRT monitors with glass screens; if they had been on (which they should have been) they would also still have a large electrical charge inside and with the force they both seemed to hit with, it would be very unlikely they at least one of them didn't "explode" the tube...

I haven't had too many fights in my life, but years ago I was walking down a street in New York City and I saw 4 guys beating the hell out of one guy. They didn't see me and I stood there for a few seconds and I " was thinking "I really don't know this guy, should I jump in , should i not," I finally decided that you only live once, I raced down the ally screaming like a mad man and jumped into the battle......between the 5 of us , we beat that dude up good!:monkey3
