I thought I heard Amazon Japan stopped shipping to the U.S. for the time being after the 1st Megs run?

They do ship stuff, but it's just hard to say what. I just PO'd a couple of King Of Fighters figures, and it's all good.

If they do offer Megs, I'm guessing the discount won't be as deep as it previously was. I'd still secure a PO somewhere else in case they don't offer him at all though. AE, Amiami or even US stores (except BBTS, they put that orange thing as well as HLJ).

The full review and galla for FansHobby's MB-04 Gunfighter II is up: Toy Review: FansHobby MB-04 GunFighter II - Kuma Style

Honestly, I really like the improvements and added weapons but the mold itself is a bit clunky for my tastes and not so fun to pose.

Here are some pics from the galla section:

I missed out on MP-36 too! I guess I'll wait until next reissue from a japan store.

MP-36 still not that hard to find. I picked one up for retail from other TFW2005 forum. If you want to wait, Japan amazon is the one to keep an eye on.

Looks like anime color mp Sideswipe on pre-order at BBTS like Red Alert.

Yeah I saw a Tweet earlier confirming he was coming

Also saw that retail for Streaker is confirmed as 12,000 Yen (so around the $120 mark he's currently pre-ordering for) with this being the case then I am definitely out of the official TF collecting game

Prices now too steep for me

I will cotinue looking at 3P companies to fill in any gaps (price still an issue here too...get too dear & I still wont buy) but definitely no more official figures at these prices

Just wait a few months and pick up the inevitable KO if the line is getting too expensive. Plus the sellers will always mark them down when posting to the UK so you don't have to pay customs fees.

Has their QC, or quality in general gone up since Apollyon? He's the only figure I've bought from them. Was interested in Beachcomber and Windcharger, but decided against it due to price and my experience with Apollyon.

i have a lot of their offerings, and honestly don't have an issue w/ any of them. apollyon was a little loose on the one shoulder but quickly fixed w/ the new joint they sent. everything else on mine was perfectly fine. i have the 1st ollie, which i will say that he was annoying until i did a little work on him, but perfectly fine now. i have their wheelie, megatron, beachcomber, cyclonus, scurge, windcharger... have no problems w/ any of them and they all look great w the rest of the MPs on the shelf.

I've got a lot of XT figures. There is usually at least one QC/design issue (with the exception of Andras). Usually it's something minor like a loose joint, but they often require careful handling compared to other figures. Someone on TFW2005 made the analogy that collecting XT figures is like dating a model with an STD. It looks amazing but it's risky doing any fun stuff with it!

dx9 just showed off some of their upcoming MP omega supreme...
looks pretty dam good so far! about an inch taller than FT... rumored price around $300! hope that price sticks! :yess:

Thanks for the input. Still not sure if I want to roll the dice with those. The mini bots just seemed too expensive for what you got. But maybe one day. . .

yeah that dx9 omega is supposed to be over 60cm at the tips of the tracks... which puts him about a 1/4" under 2 feet! ridiculous! but sweet!

All things transformers!!!!

That Omega looks amazing! And apparently cheaper than FT's!!!

None of the other DX releases have really hit the spot IMO, but this is a WINNER! WOW!

Love how these 3P companies are killing each other for our $$$!

Can't justify another Sideswipe but yes Sunstreaker is awesome. What is the best PO deal?
