I wonder if this will delay further shipments (to Europe etc.) While they wait to include the replacement (whatever it may be) from the word go.

I've spoke with sideshow for the second day in a row. They assure me these will ship (US) within the week. So it looks like anyone in the states will have to make a claim and wait for parts. However long that will take.

Man, that's a pain. Looks great overall; but stained neck on a $200 figure is a problem even if the tunic largely hides it. And of course I'd be worried about other staining issues long term.

Save your money, you're not missing much. If you really need it, wait till problems may or may not be addressed and wait for sub 100 on it.
Honestly I'm having a hard time remembering when any of the central characters wielded that rifle on TNG. I'm sure random security officers probably did, and maybe Riker or Worf at some point, but I can't remember any actual instances.
It wasn't until DS9 that I remember it actually having a big presence.

I meant that particular phaser rifle on the TNG series itself.

I recognize it, but no idea when it would have been used or seen in the background. Definitely not a weapon I associate with Picard, but makes for a good exclusive since it's not necessary yet still cool to have.
Well, I just received notice that my Picard figure has shipped. Here's hoping that there's no staining... 
I posted this in the front page review and thought I would post here. This is just my opinion and I am happy people enjoy the figure. But... for me the problem is the NOSE. When I open the pictures in the review or this thread and move my hand to cover the nose... I see Picard/Stewart. But when I lower my hand... and bring the nose back into view, I lose the connection. So, the figure is decent but it is not Picard to me.
Sculptures seem to have such a hard time with real-life 'humans'... some are perfect and others are just off. That is why I have only purchased a few real-life characters... Michael Jordan = PERFECT, Jack Sparrow = PERFECT and that is why I have them.
But look at Han and Star Lord up above on the Sideshow Freaks header... they look off to me. This is all my opinion, I would love to buy more, but they need to look 'perfect' to me.

... And you are absolutely right. The nose is the biggest issue I've seen from the start. People complain about the suit, the guns, the stains, the size of the head, the choice of body, when to me, from the beginning, pun intended, I'd say the biggest issue has always as obvious as the nose in the middle of the face.

Now, that, I wouldn't do! It may not be perfect but it's way better than anything else out there. Playmates? No way! Dragon? Already dated when it was released. Here, you probably have the last chance to get TNG Picard. And if you don't like the sculpt, I wouldn't be surprised if one day, somewhere down the line, someone offers a better custom sculpt. If it ever happens, you'll already have a body and a suit ready.
Yeah no offense to QMX, but I'd love to see someone like Gregcustoms give us a new Spock and Picard sculpt at some point. Their likenesses are always spot-on.

Just return it for a refund after you receive it. It's defective, they ought to be paying for return shipping. If they don't pay for return shipping, you can escalate further.
If you haven't already, you could explain to them that all of these are stained and they're going to be encountering more problems regarding this figure.
