I think my favorite is the Emma. I love her face and the subtlety of the colors.

And, of course, her massive "rack".

I preordered Rogue to flip it but I just checked sold prices for the other three. They aren't that high, even with the exclusive prints. Black Cat actually sells for *below* retail. I was under the impression that these were worth more.

lol no, Rogue sold out in 1 day. She was listed Thursday night and sold out by Friday night

Okay, back to square one. How long did it take for BC Ex to sell out? Anyone?

Last three regular Emma Frost statues sold on eBay: $299.98, $264.49, $249.00
Last two exclusive Emma Frost statues sold on eBay: $300.00, $275.00
Last four regular Mary Jane statues sold on eBay: $151.00, $222.50, $239.00, $231.50
Last three exclusive Mary Jane statues sold on eBay: $250.00, $255.00, $242.50

The only one going at around (or slightly, slightly below) retail is Black Cat, but that's probably due to the fact that it's the latest one, and its waitlist is still open -- unlike Emma's or MJ's, for either version.

There are actually more Emmas and MJs (900+2000) than Black Cats (1100+1500), which means that dear old Felicia might be even more scarce one day than the first two. Some completists will miss out.

So with the combined total edition sizes of 2900 for the first two and 2500 for the third, and with the ES of 1000 for exclusive Rogue, I guess we can expect the regular ES of Rogue to fall in the lower end of the 1500-1900 range.

Right?

Adam's Black Cat print artwork had a whole warehouse painted in behind her; not exactly what I would call "Just a painted picture of the statue".

yes I know but everyone kept saying that the Rogue pic was the artwork which is why I said I hope there is more of an atmosphere in it

BC took awhile but why I'm saying 1 day is cause on your original post you made it sound like Rogue sold out in 2 and it was 1 day

Sold out, eh?

Well that didn't take very long. :joy

I'm pretty certain the Exclusive Emma took over a week to sell out, ditto Exclusive Black Cat. MJ might have gone a bit more quickly, but still, nothing like just two days.

here is what I'm saying 1 day to

These are definitely a niche kind of thing, they are greatly done and executed and without argument the best female Marvel statues done to date but the reality is that SSC is blitzing their collectors with so much stuff lately that they get tossed to the wayside. Just wait, when they announce a Jean Grey or some other Marvel lady that really gets people buzzing then the older pieces will go back up in value on the secondary market. Collectors need a "gateway" piece to get into a line and then they'll go back to get the rest. Mary Jane did that briefly because of the controversy and Emma prices shot up like a rocket, BC hasn't lived up to the hype but it looks like Rogue will be the next big gun.

Anything "exclusive" will demand a higher retail but the way to judge, really judge a piece's secondary value is to look at the standards, most collectors just want the piece and nothing more especially when the exclusive includes control art that is pieced out on eBay often times anyway. Look at the Marvel grails, all four (Hulk, Doom, Red/Gold Iron Man, X-Men v Sentinel 1) have very distinct exclusives that go for amazing pricing but the standards are also flying waaay above retail.

Is anyone else worried about how they'll ship Rogue? Her stretched glove seems it could break during shipping.I remember all the posts in the Black Cat thread about damage during shipping. The glove is thin that's what got me worried.
Anyone else on board with me on this?
:chew

I think I was talking about the Thursday-Friday frame... or something. I noticed Rogue sold out only on Saturday, that's for sure.

Oh, and now the wait until Q4... :google

I'm not worried about shipping -- if Felicia can get to Croatia undamaged, Rogue sure can too.

I am worried cause my Black Cat came with her foot broken off. I really hope they pack Rogue well cause if this one breaks then I will probably be done with Sideshow

Hey, Cimarron, you can always check your account, or indeed your confirmation e-mail, if you're in doubt. ;)

And BC -- living in America, you can easily get your replacements; don't be such a sour kitty with them!

I'm sure they are aware of The Glove and are making The Package to house it properly.

(And my Felicia must be hardy indeed -- she survived a Magnitude 4 earthquake last month intact. So did all my other collectibles, but you'd think she'd be the first one to break, really...)

Found this kind of funny.

They are selling pre orders of the Rogue Comiquette and the price is a little weird.

The price is 149.99 but it says this....

A nonrefundable deposit of $162.50 will be due upon ordering and the remainder will be charged within 10 days of shipping.

The deposit is more then the price?

Maybe they want to be like a bank and invest the extra $12.51 while you wait for the statue, then refund it back right before it ships :lol

Just wanted to say I think Rogue looks great, it'll be my first marvel comiquette. I'm not gonna worry about the glove too much, I'm sure Sideshow will pack it right. Plus I live pretty close to their warehouse. Can't wait for the announcements of the next 2 statues in this line. So Rogue gets my stamp of approval.

Ok; Adam was sent one of the production models...

the glove arrived in one piece. Nice packaging job!

At the risk of sounding vulgar, you are all going to love the breasts; trust me. That is, if you can tear yourself away from her butt. BEST butt-dimples ever!

And the paint job? Fantastic. The green for her costume is perfect. The whites are just as nice; they are warm, and not a "right out of the tube" Titanium white. Her hair and face are great, and the stone wall is awesome. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say this is my favorite one yet.
