Because there are a number of collectors holding off until a later version comes out. I'm hoping for a tad bit smaller body and an unmasked sculpt. Add in the fact that HT massively overproduced all the TFA figures and you have high supply low demand.

Just got this guy today. The zipper on the forearm unfortunately fell off... anyone else have any issues with the zipper? It felt impossible to zip back up after swapping the arms for the light up feature.

I originally wanted this too, but decided to stick with OT stuff and the occasional PQ characters that I visually love. I might one day pick him up for cheap if the character evolves in the movies. I like the bad guys. I buy them the most. But Kylo Ren was a very disappointing villain for me on screen. Visually he looked cool, but can't get past the emo teen angst vibe yet. I'll stick with my Hasbro BS and SH Figuarts Ren versions for now.

Figured I would share the pics of my CREG Kylo Ren sculpt painted by Skiman. Now that I have the reveal head and the melted Vader mask, my HT Kylo is complete!

Just got this guy today. The zipper on the forearm unfortunately fell off... anyone else have any issues with the zipper? It felt impossible to zip back up after swapping the arms for the light up feature.

I fortunately didn't have a problem with mine (because I never swapped arms), but I recall many having issues with their zippers when this first released. Perhaps if you post a picture of the extent of the damage, someone who had the same issue could assist.

Mine had the exact same problem. Zipper came right off. I had to get a new shirt from Toy Anxiety and never again will attempt to swap arms.

Well, that's just great - NOT - 'coz I just PO'd this guy. Better late than never - and I need him to go with Rey/BB-8. Also, I think he is one of the more interesting characters introduced, and looks badass. And I kind of like getting characters at their *humble* origins or in the beginning - for me it can just be more interesting than later versions (unless the first sculpts are terrible).

Except this Kylo didn't get a sculpt *cheap* so waited a good while. But got a coupon and free ship. Still, watching reviews, the fig seems pretty awesome re costume and articulation. Don't particularly enjoy changing heads, anyway - afraid of breakage.

Sounds like I'd better have fabric glue and velcro on hand tho for this guy. Because I definitely want the lighted arm on.
