Black outfit on Black Cat, to much black IMO, the original one pops more with the black on gold... That said, it's still nice looking.... I'm a bit disappointed that they're going down the variant path to cash in on it's popularity... Kind of kills the collectability when they go beyond the limited edition of what they originally said.... Seems the only companies that keep their word on Edition Sizes are XM and Prime 1... Everybody else will change the color of something on the statue and say it's new... << sigh >>

Ordered! LOVE the black cat! It gives a more authentic Egyptian touch... IMHO

I missed the emerald edition, and now I'm glad I did.

i agree- stick to your limited run and leave it- create a whole new pose if you do another duplicate subject.....

The Sideshow one say's it's a Ruby Edition too but it doesn't mention the Signature.
Is the Autograph Only through Tweeterhead?

They are not greedy if that is market price.

I understand that. It's like whatever the last person in your neighborhood sold his house for that determines more or less what a nearby neighbor can expect for his house. But now with this variant, it will disrupt what people are paying for the original gold issue. At least for a little while until the 2nd issue are all sold out.

I hate when companies re-release hot items. It's for no other reason but to sell more. Always Kills the value on the original. DC Direct did that repeatedly. No matter what piece went up. They ended up changing the color a little and pumped out a few thousand more. Then other companies followed suit. Now some companies like Blitzway don't even bother changing anything at all. They just pump out another thousand as is.

I remember when they did that with the original 1st issue 1993 Saban Power Rangers. All that stuff was so limited, then they reissued most of the 1st issue figures/playsets again and then it all lost it's value.

You guys shouldn't be surprised and/or disappointed when re-releases happen. For-profit companies make decisions that increase their profits.
