Ah I remember he built it from an iPhone part I believe. Awesome. Just need it moulded.

Yeah, it was amazing what he made it from, but it's super accurate (like everything WTC does.) You wouldn't need much casting skills to take a mold and make some copies, and no paint skills required of the buyer - Tamiya black and brush.

Not sure he wants to go to the trouble though.:lol

That is a thing of beauty!

For those who put his robe over his armor like how it's supposed to be, how hard was it? I assume it's a lot like the ANH Vader? Would the belt have to be removed or unbuckled?

Yeah the belt needs to come off to do it. I tried it but the found the inner robes plus the cape to be too thick and not look right on his shoulders so put it back under. The ANH robes and cape are better suited to that look in my opinion.

Thanks for the info. Does the belt unbuckle the same way as the ANH Vader?

Similar, but the clip is in the middle. Once it comes off though it loosens up and tends to unclip while reposing.

I've got a spare SS light up ROTJ belt and chest box and am considering putting those on the R1 and transferring R1's chest box and belt boxes to the ANH.

Just got a chance to open him up. I love it, he is phenomenal. I'm not a Vader expert and this is my first sixth scale Vader but I was blown away. I know the shoulders should be covered but I'm too chicken to take him apart to do it.

Great picture. Tunic wouldn't be that difficult to put over the armor though; just the brief removal of a few easy parts and then replacing them. Not really an extreme mod. Heck, I would more consider it to be a simple futz rather than a "mod", being that the parts are all still stock. However, I understand if you're reluctant to do it. Better safe than sorry if you're unsure.

Yeah I've modded my ANH Vader so I'm pretty familiar with most of it. Just want to make sure I don't break anything.

I didn't need to take off the belt to put the tunic over the armor.

I'm also scared to do it! How you did it?

I really don't want do any damage to this beauty. But I would love to get this style done

The belt unbuckles in front, it's just a pin in a hole, very simple. Someone posted pics of it a while back.

See, I would be afraid that in the effort of being careful, someone could accidentally stretch the belt out....I dunno. It simply unbuckles in the front.

Took off the helmet, lifted up on the armor, pushed the tunic to the sides, put the armor back down and slid the tunic over it.
