Sculpt on the production piece came out pretty awesome in the likeness department. Just wish they went for a better pose and expression. The mannequin look totally ruins it :(

In my opinion this is the perfect pose. I meen, if this would be a action pose 1:2, the base would be immense. Most of the collectors would have storage issues, and I kinda like the museum pose :)

But in all, this is my opinion :D

Agree, given the scale, a dynamic pose would make this very hard to display. It's why I'm not fond of 1:2 scale and would have preferred if this were 1:4. Part of the reason I prefer statues over 1:6 figures is the dynamic and natural poses they are usually sculpted in, which are normally hard to achieve on a 1/6 action figure without looking awkward. At the very least, a more expressive sculpt would've done wonders for this.

Love how this piece turned out, but I agree that the stance could have been better. No need to make it dynamic. The "Hit Me!" pose IMO would have been a better choice.

The previous pose was better as it was very iconic (despite looking unnatural), this is just a very boring pose as it makes the statue look like one giant EB doll that has better quality with a better sculpt.

You talking about the pose on the promo poster where he is holding the machine gun?

I think he means this scene :)

I also liked the previous bend over pose more. It was dynamic, and a iconic pose from the movie.
But nevermind, a lot of people disliked it, thats why they changed it in a straight, neutral pose.

Oh I see, well its similar to the pose on the promo poster.

Yes it was, looked like a pose taken right out of the movie.

I don't think it was the pose per se, it was the fact that the pose didn't look natural. If they were able to make that pose look more natural, I don't think it would have been changed.

IMO I would have liked simulated hair...not the sculpted .. I think that would have pushed this over the top for me.. I have the 1:2 Bats and Supes coming.. not sure about WW but this is a pass for me... I feel as though this version of the joker is nicely represented in my collection... Congrats to those who will be adding this to their collection!

I think you are right, but anyways. I am alright with the pose they have choosen :) still the best Heath Ledger likeness

If they did that it would most likely look like a wig like it does on WW, since you can't have rooted hair on resin. I think an easier option would be to have mixed media like he has on his 1/6th sculpts. However, this method might be hard to replicate at a mass scale, which is why I am guessing they just chose the hair to be entirely sculpted, purely for consistency.

What piece is that?

Sure is and although the pose is boring, it doesn't look strange like the pose on the Ledger PF.

The Ledger PF pose from Sideshow is very random, and it doesn't fit the character :D

Not only that, it is just weird, the left arm should not be so close to the body, especially when he is crouching down like that.

I can't wait for my prime 1 statue :)

I just wish it was 1/4 scale so it could with my Bale PF, Sideshow nailed the likeness of Bale as Batman. I still have no idea where I am going to put this large statue if I get it.

I thought you liked the pose on the PF? Or have you changed your mind on it? Personally I like it, apart from the card which feels a bit random to me. It's certainly not my first choice for a pose and I wasn't too fond of it when it was first shown, but it has certainly grown on me over time, especially after receiving the Bale PF in hand and knowing how good they'll look together.

I have never liked it but I didn't hate it as much as so many other people did. In a way you could say I changed my mine because I have noticed something about it now that really bothers me.

For me it's the exact opposite, I really don't like it now.

Fair enough man. It's certainly ambitious, so it wasn't always going to please everyone.

Well it's not the fact that it is ambitious, the way the left arm posed is looks odd.

Wow the tailoring looks better than I thought, and this is meant to be the production piece?

Yes, kato approves that on Facebook :)

Kato is the one, who did the tailoring on the suit.
