They do know that the holidays are the same every year, right? Lol.

I just hate that this is the third order in a row where processing is taking forever.

I wouldn't mind so much if the $20 shipping didn't take 6 days for it to get to me. But, since it does, and Christmas is next week.. It's a bit annoying. Oh well.

The ever growing impatience of collectors :lol While I understand it all to well, it is funny when its not happening to you :lol

That being said I hope all orders get shipped out soon, Side show need to get their asses in gear :lecture

What bothers me more is that this seems to be a trend with them lately. It wouldn't be as big a deal if the $20 shipping allowed the thing to arrive to my house in less than 6 days. But with that not being the case, and the holidays fast approaching, it just has my annoyance meter raising.

With Christmas.. My mom will usually ask me what I have preordered, and she'll either pay for something or pay a portion of it, and she'll give it to me for Christmas.. Usually she ends up having to put a photo of a preorder in a box because it hasn't been released yet. I figured, awesome, sneaky is set to release well before Christmas, so she'd actually have the physical figure to give me. So, I went and changed the shipping address, then processing began on Monday night and I figured awesome.. With 13 days until Christmas, and 6 days to get to my area, it'll work out perfectly. But no. It's not.

And if it ships and doesn't arrive prior to Christmas.. Who knows how long it'll be in the system for.

My fingers are crossed that they don't wait until Monday. (If they are so backed up, you'd think they'd work on Saturday.. I know I have to work extra during holidays..)

I have only had this happen a few times out of 100+ orders so i can't really complain. I have worked in enough different business that i know sometimes no matter how hard you try things don't go as planned.

Something I learned growing up is that if you expect things to go according to plan, you're going to have a bad time living life.

Live and let go. No need to put yourself through unecessary stress over things you can't control.

I'd take a gander and say it's probably out of Sideshows control too. Do you really think they are deliberately delaying your order? Come on now....don't take it personally nor should you expect 100% perfection. Flexibility comes a long way. As a business, I am pretty sure Sideshow is stressing out too considering they have customers to keep happy.

Patience and understanding goes a long way folks.

I'm expecting transparency.. I'd rather be told what to expect than not told anything at all.

If they don't know when their order is arriving, they should. And they shouldn't charge for something on Monday/Tuesday, when they know it won't arrive to them until the following Monday or Tuesday. That's just a stupid way to do business.

I've NEVER ordered from a place with such a slow turn around. When I get charged for things at HLJ or amiami, they always ship out that same day. With BBTS, the longest I've waited was probably 36 hours or so.. I just shipped a $650+ order from them and it didn't take nearly as long as it's taken sideshow these last few purchases. And like I said, if this weren't becoming more common, I wouldn't be as annoyed.

Perhaps they need to wait until their stock actually arrives in order to process payment.

Trust me, I have patience. If I didn't, I wouldn't preorder figures like the mark 6 or 46. I'm fine with waiting.. But I'm not fine with them sending out shipping and processing notices on a Monday, processing the payment, then staying silent for a week because their order hasn't even arrived to them.

Is it that difficult to type out a "we're not expecting this to ship until next week" email? I've gotten plenty of delayed emails before.

I will never get super annoyed at a figure being delayed by a quarter, but when they keep pulling this, it gets on my nerves. And like I said before, it'd be a little different if their $20 shipping didn't ALWAYS take 6 days to get to me.

I know the day I get this and open it up, I'm going to instantly want to get the Retro Version. I do just so happen to have exactly enought RP to get him for free. :wink1:

Where did you guys ship from? I ordered mine from SSC but it came from HK direct and sent via UPS.

My last order from SSC was the gold stormie sent from US via FedEx.
