Anyone ever had any luck getting Sideshow to apply rewards to a waitlist conversion? Says no in the rules but if you ask nicely they'll sometimes help you out.

Yeah last month, but I wanted the hands and a few other things from this one and decided why not just get the whole thing with my rewards points. Vader is the only Hot Toys Star Wars figure I've given into.

I'd like a Tarkin and Han Solo in Stormtrooper disguise too.

As the movie neared the end I was just waiting for a Bud Light or Coke spaceship to appear lol I mean every piece of the merchandise puzzle seemed to all pop near the end. The one shown in the picture is the costume standee and I've read that there were different versions. Not sure if this is the one they used for all of his scenes.

I can confirm to you thatLord Vader wears his robe over the armor in this film. No doubts there. The above pic is inaccurate.

Glad I preordered this when I did. Vader's in the movie a lot less than I was expecting (and I wasn't expecting him to be in much), but the scenes he did have were pretty awesome.

I kinda prefer the thicker neck he has in R1, makes him look even stronger imo.

I just hope the figure doesn't have the same thick neck issues that the Vader helmet had in Rogue One. It was terrible looking and seriously distracting.

I think the only reason the RO one looks different is because it's flared out more on the bottom. It gives it an illusion of the whole thing being thicker (Padme wasn't falling for it)

I never noticed any issues with the neck in the movie (and he's always kinda had a thick neck). The only thing that felt off to me was the red eyes being way too prominent. It's a feature I've always loved in ANH, but only when it was as subtle as it was in that movie.

Here it was just jumping out at you in every shot.

I think the guy in the suit was the main problem with how he looked. The costume just didn't fit him right. They should have been more picky and chosen someone closer to Prowse's size.

Really wasn't expecting his to go so fast. Not even seeing available for wait list. I'd like to think it's coming back in stock. If not, oh well. Try and grab the gloves and call it a day. Movie was great. Liked it better than TFA. Neck was my only problem with Vader. Couldn't stop focusing on it.
