Sweet. I'll be hitting you up once the holidays are over. These are so much better than the HT ones. N it looks to have the street/gravel look to it. I'll hit you up later with pricing on PM.

Awesome! Yeah, they have a textured base and they're a bit more Detolf friendly than the stock ones. You can even rig the stock flight pole on it. I'll have those for Supes, Batman, Armored Batman and a trampled dirt version for Knightmare Bats. As soon as EVILFACE makes some decals for them I'll have a set or two for sale.

Coco. Those stands are phenomenal. The one thing I hate about the new HT stands are how big and cumbersome they are.

Haven't posted an update in a while since I've been busy. The final product is much better in person. I for one, am not really happy with the results though. I'm going to try again on a non heat vision sculpt soon. N hopefully learn from this experience.

Here's the better pic of the rooted head. Hope to star the next one soon. I got a better idea of how to go about it now. I'll be keeping these for my personal collection.

Those are awesome Coco! Is that like a rooftop rain effect?

Thanks, jim! I just wanted to put a cool, industrial type finish on the BvS stands and that's what I settled on. I didn't have anything specific in mind other than the trampled dirt look for the Knightmare Bats stand.

Just got my Superman... Wow, truly an incredible figure. Hot Toys never cease to impress. Can't believe I had passed on that.

I'll go as far as to say, he's even more impressive than all Batman figures (which I absolutely love) from this Bat V Supes line, and truly a must have.

The Regular Batman and this Superman really compliment each other, they HAVE to be side by side, it's just mindblowing how well done those figures are.

What really amazes me with this Superman is that he doesn't come with much (only a few interchangeable hands, and the Kryptonite piece), his outfit is very simple and yet... he has much more shelf presence in my collection than Star-lord or BD T-800 (from T2), even though those figures have much more details going on them. Maybe it's because the colors are brighter.

That being said most of my HT have "dark" colors, I don't own a lot of shiny figures, though I do have the diecast Robocop and one Iron Man, so that may be why Superman stands out.

Anyway, awesome figure, totally recommend it, it was well worth it!

Not sure if I'd say he's more impressive than the Affleck Batman figures but definitely on a par and underrated in comparison. I just have the regular version so no kryptonite piece but Supes doesn't need accessories to look complete. It's a near perfect figure in terms of likeness and the suit, especially that cape.

Interesting you mention the T2 figures, I think they almost look undersized compared to these BVS figures. Cavill was big for this movie but surely not as big as an early 90's Arnold.

Hot Toys just seem to be getting better, you can see the evolution from older figures to these more recent ones. The Leto Joker sculpt is as impressive as this line. Can't wait to see the Wonder Woman, the other Justice League members and Harley Quinn figures.

I don't know man and as I told you I'm not a Superman fan, but this figure... wow. It's really perfect for what it is.
Yes the Kryptonite piece is completely useless, it's kind of cheaply made too. The figure itself is perfection, I didn't expect it to be that good, the pictures don't really capture quite enough the rendering.

I love the Batman figures too, but there's just something so special about this Superman outfit, the colors, the sculpt.. oh and yeah the cape is ace, wonder why they didn't do the same with Batman. It's a perfect cape, very smooth.

Those figures are definitely bigger than T-800 bodies, and yeah Arnorld circa 1984 definitely was bigger than both Affleck and Cavill. Affleck is taller than Arnie in real life though.. but Arnie is taller than Cavill.. so yeah, doesn't really add up, I'm not sure how they do their 1/6 scaling maths :lol Not that it's that big of a deal, those figures are tall enough in my book, sometimes I wish they were a bit smaller (that's why I really love what Mezco went for with their 1/12 line, but I'm a bit disappointed by the latest releases).

Agree about the Kryptonite accessory. I still have mine displayed with the figure, but it does slightly pale in comparison to the Tech Cowl and the Toys-Era spear.

Edit: Although when you look at pictures of the actual movie prop (which I'd never seen before), it does look relatively close actually. Close enough at least, for being a mere 1/6 scale accessory.

I've never seen it in hand, didn't come with my figure, so can't really comment. I would feel guilty about sticking a big piece of Kryptonite in front of him though :lol

It's really nothing special. Just a semi transparent piece of green plastic. Someday I plan to put together a business Luthor fig, I'll probably give it to him to hold.

It's a cool accessory, not a must have though (such as a Kryptonite spear). Even though I have mine displayed with my figure, it's not something I would hunt down separately to acquire if I didn't get the EX version.
