My brother who buys a lot of original art prints get those prints for free. The artist themself say it's the easiest money made. Just click away and print away and $$$

Marvel VS Capcom 4 is being announced next week

I can pretty much confirm that Captain Marvel and some of the Guardians of the Galaxy will be on the roster (Marvel Side).

I can now pretty much get rid of my PS3

I haven't seen that confirmed yet. Also, rumor said they are basically ditching the xmen previously involved and focusing on the MCU characters. This is very saddening.

I feel the same way. I have tons of art prints and have owned even more than I currently do now. They're ok but not spectacular.

I'm just not 'buyin' most of the SSC prints - not blown away at all. There's a few that impress....sure. But this sadly isn't one. It doesn't look bad, but just doesn't look 'ZOMG!!!!11!'.

I've never bought one and will never buy one. I don't understand the appeal.
The only thing I can see that might make the art prints worth it is their likeness to the statues released.
But i'd sooner print out my own jpg and hang it next to my statue than shell out $90.00 +

But I guess my method might make premium art collectors cringe. Maybe to them, printing out my own picture and hanging next to my statue is similar to parking a Bugatti next to a muddy and stench-ridden pig sty.

I wouldn't hold my breath. It's Capcom we're talking about. The game will be another anti consumer, bare-bones disappointment at launch.

If Marvel granted Capcom the license to use their characters [as suggested by sources] and if the past is indicative of future character choices then wouldnt the roster include characters from MCU and Disney/Marvel's own tv / film initiatives?

With upcoming film projects for Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Thor Ragnorok (sp?)

Id expect the new game to expand on the current roster which already includes characters such as:

-Ghost Rider (as seen on SHIELD tv show)
-Dr Strange (feature film)
-Rocket Raccoon (feature film)
-Hawkeye (ensemble cast)
-Iron Fist (upcoming Netflix exclusive)

That leaves

Captain Marvel (film coming in 2019)
Infinity War (Thanos... Capcom has already programmed his move set from earlier arcade titles)
Black Panther (film coming in 2017)
Ant-Man
Luke Cage (Netflix exclusive)
Jessica Jones (see above)
Daredevil
Punisher (netflix exclusives)

Also dont forget Marvel / Disney also have interest in the Spider-Man Homecoming feature ... so we may infact see villains in the game again like Venom (his moveset could easily be ported from MvC2)

Marvel Comics is different from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In Marvel Comics ... the X-Men Blue and Gold teams are being re-surrected (so to speak).

True that Disney will push for its own MCU initiative with the game as they did with the previous title... but they still included X-Men Characters and other Marvel characters for the previous game's release.

That Marvel fighting game on iOS still includes mutants and other heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe not retained by Marvel Film Studios.

Their gaming division is not as centralized.

There are multiple divisions at Marvel.. they still retain the ownership rights to all their characters for comic purposes. That's why you still see Fantastic Four in comics and X-Men etc

I never got into the Capcom vs. Marvel series though. I might have to give this new installment a try.

what would be brilliant is if this becomes a reality and PSN sells the digital copy then I hope those that preorder also receive a FREE port for the PS4 of Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3. That game was amazing and is extremely hard to find... but as said earlier this is CAPCOM we're talking about.

They'll milk the **** outta this franchise.

The creators of South Park offered a free port of Stick of Truth to those that preordered their new game... so heres hoping.

It's just what the websites are reporting. This whole thing is a rumor. "Game might come in 2017, if true, the focus will be on MCU characters (which includes tv, film, future films, and Netflix)". That's what I've read. Over and over again. So if you have xmen issues with it, go ask marvel brah.

After having practically murdered the success of xmen comics. Do I think they will cut them all out? No. Do I think they will replace people like gambit, cable, psylocke, etc that haven't been massively relevant in recent media.... possibly. The smartest idea would be to just make the roster massive and continually add to it because why not.

That's what I'm saying. Xmen still existing in comics doesn't mean they are being produced well. Xmen used to consistently be the most popular comic ever!
