Got mine from Sideshow today. The body type is off to me. Thighs or hips are too wide. Makes him look too curvy. I'm undecided on whether he looks a bit on the stumpy side. His fists feel oddly small as well, which is a bummer for me, because I haven't mustered up the courage to swap hands :lol The magnetised sword sheath, & eyes is a brilliant idea. Should do something similar for future Spiderman figures they might have planned. Outfit looks mint in person. Overall, solid release.

Even with it's flaws, it's still a top tier figure in my collection. Being Deadpool helps :lol

Thanks bud, im thinking about maybe posting some of the accessories on the sides of the detolf or maybe in the backdrop, havent decided yet
I honestly think they look better displayed in front like that :dance

If I had your setup I would bunch them up more and display the extra hands and eyes and maybe add a Funko POP or Cosbaby :lol

So.. I'm thinking I want to find a 1/6 child's cowboy hat (with the string) a red bandana, and I want to make 4 leashes for the upcoming beasts of the Mesozoic raptors.. I want deadpool to take the raptors for a walk.

Totally makes sense .....

For Deadpool .....

I may consider cancelling this, not because of the wrist issue but because the proportions look really bad on this figure (tiny torso and huge head). I wish they stuck with the old body prototype but oh well I'll see a few more pics and wait it out a bit before deciding (Maybe Deadpool 2 costume will be announced who knows). :dunno

Just hold on to it until DP2 comes out. Itll only go up in value....

I completely agree about the body, the final version just doesn't look as realistic. I'm still waiting for someone on here to do a body swap with their figure to see if it looks better, any volunteers? Right now I'm inclined to give it a try when I get mine, I know there's the stitched part at the top of the zipper but seems like it would be easy to stitch it back closed once the suit is back on.

In these pics it almost looks like the same suit since it looks less tight on the thinner body. Maybe they changed it to avoid risk of the seams tearing?

Edit: rewatched Budget's video of the prototype and it clearly was a different suit with a different, more pronounced texture.

Meh, I think they both look great. The difference isn't noticeable enough to bother me.

6 days.. I'm sure stupid thanksgiving is going to get in the way lol.

Yea I still prefer the newer material and wish that would have been overlayed on the older body, but if you notice on the pics the actual leather pouches looked nice and weathered on the prototype while cheap looking on the release version. The body swap is nice idea but I'm not sure the suit is flexible enough to stretch. I hope someone tries it tho.

Looking at my figure, a body swap is going to be a chore from what I can tell. If someone is brave enough to attempt it, I'm curious about the results.

Yeah, I'm really annoyed about the downgrade of the prototype also. It seems like they made him thinner and less movie accurate to accommodate for articulation. I don't like overly-articulating Hot Toys, so for me it's a real downer, as the prototype seemed pretty much perfect.

And the fact that the new suit material is obviously so fragile, it just makes the sacrifice of body proportions pointless, as who's going to risk having theirs in such an articulated way that it may damage the suit more easily than any other figure.

You can tell just from the crotch this was the case, nothing looks filled out, he looks too skinny. Incredibly disappointed. Gone form such an highly anticipated figure for me. I'll get it see it in hand, and probably wait for number two, I just hope they don't change the outfit drastically. And also hope Hot Toys actually fill out the suit, **** that prototype was spot on...

Just looking at the waist and chest width, how could they think the new one was an improvement?! His upper body doesn't look like it's a part of the same body as the legs - for me it's the opposite of the BvS Batman, from an awful prototype to such a masterful finished product. I think the biggest problem is the chest/rib cage/muscle area, in the prototype it balances out his hip indent to outer thigh curve, the new one is a very good child-bearing hips Deadpool.

The more I see of this final figure the more I see it as a Try, try again for Deadpool 2
