What's the odds of them emailing out a 20% discount on this guy? Really wanting to jump on him, but $1250 is a killer when converted to AUD. Saving $250 will be a huge selling point on whether I personally (and I gather most people) will PO.

I had to work out if I could fix everything wrong with this piece before i ordered it. Which for the price they're asking is a joke in itself.

I sold my Alien, wanted to focus on just the predators. Need to find a statue to replace it, this predator Jungle Hunter statue is perfect to fill that spot. EX Ordered.

I got a 10% off offer . . . didn't take them up on it.

They could half the price and I still wouldn't buy it.

The issues on this can't be fixed as easily as the ones on the P2.

All in all, this is an easy pass for me. The big head, thigh armor, and unmasked portrait don't sit well. Given my current predicament, twice this year having to sink massive amounts of dough into my car, now adding a new furance and tons of hospital bills from a personal injury, it helps having to pass on an item when you're not in love with it. Now...the P2 bust...I'm still tearing up about missing out on that (thanks goes to the 1st round of aforementioned car repairs).

As much as it would pain me to replace the Alien, even for consistency's sake, this will be an absolutely sick display with all of the Preds together. :drool

Sorry you had to pass on the P2 bust. Have to admit - it's AWESOME in person. Maybe they will still be around in a few months if you suddenly find some pennies.

Still - as you say - the finances were a silver lining as regards the P1 maquette :)

I've been sitting in the Portland, OR airport and someone just paged Michael Myers. No joke. I must run and hide now.

The guy who lives across the street from me is also named Michael Meyers. I'm in Cleveland.

It's hardly cheap, but it's hardly unreasonable considering the first maquette was $1,000 11 years ago. If this was a Star Wars piece it would cost over $2,000 based on the way those prices inflated.

Re: NEW PREDATOR 1 MAQUETTE by Sides

can you use reward points unspent on future flex payments?

Regarding the thigh armor being misplaced, how is that connected in the movie? does it hang on the belt? if if does then it could sway a little out of place. Is it glued on the net of the leg?

Regarding the face, i think they could shorten the distance from the eye down. but regardless this will be a great addition to my collection.
