I don't get tired of looking at this amazing piece of work. Many have attempted to capture Harrison Ford's likeness from Star Wars but in my opinion, nobody has produced anything that can beat this wonderful sculpt from Jnix. I find it staggering that the sculpt still looks superb even when viewing it at a massively enlarged sized in the photos. When looking at it in real life, in your hand - it is an exquisitely detailed piece of work.

As I just posted in the other thread, I bought an unpainted head on the first run, but have done nothing with it while I've been focusing on other 1:6 projects (and my new baby :)) I've decided that if I get a tempting offer I will part with it.

Edit: Sold. Thanks for all the interest.

Just pm'd you.

I noticed the neck of my Han figure was getting damaged from the head sculpt. Does anyone have experience with this and have any recommendations to prevent that? I was thinking of adding some kind of small felt padding.

Hmm...haven't seen any evidence of that TonTon. What kind of damage? Are there any rough spots in the neck cavity?

I think just the chin was resting at an angle against the neck and so digging into it at one spot a bit. I'll post a pic a bit later.

I have the sculpt loose sitting on the peg and an adapter. Haven't glued the adapter in yet so the weight of the sculpt is likely putting undo pressure on that spot.

I think that's mainly due to the angle it's being shot at and the lack of a transition/skin between the jaw and the neck on these as there would be IRL. It's actually at the right height when it's on forward and doesn't move up at all when it's turned. It's the same height it's at in this pic. It's just that this was taken at eye-level and the new one from chest level.

I'd have to file down another neck insert to make it look a little more perfect when the head it at this angle, which i guess i could do if it shoot it again.

Excellent lighting and photo man but that neck!

I have to admit... my mind boggles when people say this doesn't look like Harrison Ford, 1977, Han Solo.

To me, Jnix has proven to be the best 1/6 sculptor I've ever seen.

Truly breathtaking.

Definitely my favorite sculpt! I really like Jnix' style, and his Han alone makes him my favorite sculptor too, but let's not lose our heads. (Have you seen Adam Gu's Heath Ledger Joker?) Jnix has made three sculpts. One of which hasn't made it into any collectors' hands yet. Once I get my Luke sculpt in hand, I'll probably agree that he's proven himself to be the best sculptor.
