TNS just posted a video on Facebook in HD. Looks a lot better than all the pics going around.

I want to see the video. I can't find facebook. Please upload the video or the link.

Were the bad photos all a con-spi-ruh-see by Blitzway and the distributors to make some extra scratch? :lol

Just a lucky accident. :lol

It always seems to be the same when new stock comes into the Hong Kong stores. They rush to open a box, take some snaps on their phone and post them up. It's as though it's more to show they have them in stock rather than show the quality.

This is the money shot:

If I liked the film and wanted a permanent reminder of it on display (ugh), I'd buy this based on that photo.

I had Nathan Drake déjà vu all over again. It's a form of 1:6 PTSD for me. :lol

I wish the retailers would wise up and take an extra 20 mins to take some proper photos, for the sake of the sanity of the Internet folks. :lol

Maybe BW will send out the production pieces to a blogger ala HT next time. It would've avoided all of this. :lol

:lecture

It's an excellent spectator sport though.

I'm sad that I was one of the people to "play" in this sport so to speak. :slap 1.) I should know better. 2.) I shouldn't post my first and immediate reaction. :lol

I was never buying this anyway. I'm satisfied that I merely commented on stuff as I saw it at the time. :yess:

I'm new to collecting, so took the pics that were published online this morning as being "official", and after months of waiting for this, I have to admit that I was freaked out. I still don't really understand how these 2 pictures are of the exact same figure lol... Photography is a lot more powerful than I thought I guess.

Welcome to collecting then. Are these going to be your first 1/6th figures?

Camera equipment and lighting absolutely play a huge factor when photographing these figures...which makes my reaction even worse. I am a hobbyist photographer. :lol

I am still on the fence. There is a huge difference between sculpt detailing on prototype vs this. If you see they din post pics of the skin head one. I bought the set only for the skin head one and the bathrobe to be used with iminime sculpt. Also, the skinhead outfit and sculpt still looks craft-tonish to me especially where the forehead ends.
Hoping they post better pics of that version and I will be more than happy to change my mind.
Something about the nose and smirk that's still throwing it off.

And I am a huge Tyler fan so hopefully they can post some good pics of the skinhead one for me to rethink. [emoji17]

If it looks like this, I'm sure it's fine. I have no horse in this race either way.

I'm no photography expert, but dead-on flash photography would appear to erase the finer details because there are no shadows to highlight them.

Thanks man! I have HT Stan Lee and CW Cap right now, with all of the other CW figures on pre-order along with Deadpool, and all the BvS figures excluding WW. The next few months are going to be fun!!!

Well I am a big enough person that I can admit when I am wrong... And it looks like I spent a lot of time on this thread today being wrong...just call me Chicken Little...good thing there was no deposit loss involved in my re-pre-order from BBTS... Almost disappointed I was really getting myself into a good frenzy there for awhile!
