Thank you guys. I am gonna try and shave the peg down a bit....if I can remove it from the stand that is. It's stuck there so badly that I am afraid of damaging the statue with all my excessive pulling.

Guys...does this look right? I've exerted about 40 pounds of pressure trying to put his foot into a peg and this is the best I got. It's still showing the peg. To take it out...I almost go red in the face pulling on his foot. It's beyond tight... I mean....I have to use my whole body weight while holding my breath trying to push this in and this is what I got.........

Is this normal or do I have an issue.....?

I know people have already said u have an issue, but I thought I would reintegrate by mentioning that the boot should be flush against the stand with no space at all.

Up to you bro but personally I would contact Sideshow for a replacement. Guess it all depends on how much it bothers u.

I always wondered if SS inspected their statues before doing an unboxing to avoid any embarrassment.. guess not lol, same issue as posted above with the foot peg and the foot not sitting flush.

Thank you, yes I might still contact them for a full replacement. I've been working so much that I haven't had the time to mess with the pig but I will on Saturday and will make a decision on what to do.

Just got mine in, with a few minor flaws. Think I should ask for an exchange? Looks like the belt "dented" into the groin during production or shipment. IMG_5777.jpgIMG_5776.jpgIMG_5775.jpg

Those groin marks are supposed to be there. Other than a few minor imperfections I'd say you got a good piece.. nothing to worry about.

If you're not happy, always email. Worst case scenario they tell you to go **** yourself.

New cape arrived today, looks perfect. Had some issues with the wires poking through the fabric flaps that hide them.

Some of you guys may remember me from two pages back, I am the guy with the huge gap between the foot and the base of the statue. After some of your recommendations, I was able to loosen up the hole and clean off the metal peg little bit. What do you guys think?

It does take a lot of force to insert the statue in or take it out, but it has gotten better since I loosened it up. Also, I can still see a tiny gap as you can see from the photos below. Other than this issue, the statue and the base is pretty much perfect, which is why I'm trying to make this work. So what do you guys think, is this how it's supposed to be or do you still recommend an exchange?

Only thing that sucks is while cleaning up the inside of the peg hole, I scratched it all up. I doubt that's a big deal though since that part of the statue is literally NEVER visible. What do you guys think?

Its close, should be a drop lower but honestly its not all that bad.. its like a fraction off. Does it bother you? ..if so ask for a replacement. If not I'd say its good enough. Also keep in mind if you ever decide to sell it what the next person may think. Most of my complaints I may be able to ignore but I always try to think if it would bother someone else and hurt the value. Maybe ask for a credit, at least then it off sets the price drop you may occur if you decide to sell it one day.

Heres what mine looks like, because his toes raise up from the street level or vice versa.. the whole boot shouldn't be flat on the floor.. just the back heal and some of the boot threads towards the arc of his foot.

Here's your other angle which shows the biggest gap. ..my lighting isnt the greatest but it should give you an idea of where it should be. If it were my statue I'd probably ask for a replacement, if the replacement has issues then decide what to do.. keep the better of the two.. or keep asking for replacements until youre happy or they tell you NO!! lol.

Thank you for all the pics, that helps a lot! I was under the impression that to get a replacement, the original one must be returned first. Am I wrong about that? Do they send out a new one while you're still in the possession of the first one?

Yes, they will mail out a new statue,/replacement part first. If it meets your satisfaction they will then ask you to smash the defective statue and take pictures of it. After you email the pictures back and they feel it was destroyed properly, you can then throw it out or do whatever you want to do with a smashed up statue.
