The Strain on FX - starts July 13

Maybe they'll use a lot of flash-backs in the next season to fill out some of the 10 episodes which they say will finish the second book.

I felt Nora dying was kind of predictable. I never could really get into her character all that much, but I'm hoping we never see the little turd all that much anymore. My favorite part was when Eichorst got denied at the auction. Palmer getting completely punked in turn was good as well.

I haven't read the books, know nothing about how this will progress, but based on what's been seen so far, especially in flash backs, Palmer is no idiot and always plays the long game. It wouldn't surprise me to see him turn on the master.

I'm pretty sure that last scene with him and the heart has pretty much sealed the deal. If that's not foreshadowing that he's gonna turn on the master and help setrakian, I don't know what is. Figures they'd write coco in as palmers chance at redemption to humanity.

He just needs Setrakian's white cocktail recipe and he's set.

Like I was telling a friend of mine last night, "The Strain" is the best B-movie trash on television. I have absolutely loved every minute of it so far. Cannot wait to see tonight's episode.

The Strain is just not very good. I suffered through season 2, but not sure I have another season in me.

Very good season premier. I really enjoyed it. Where's my Dutch? Show of hands...who else was pumping their fists when strigoi Zach showed up? Too bad it was just a dream. Fet and Eichorst are my two favorites and they didn't disappoint. Guilty pleasure? Guilty as charged.

I miss Satrakian and Fet out on the hunt.Knew those Seals were doomed from the get go.Fet really looked up to them..too bad.Eph,man that dude is a mess.No AA for him.They should just send him in when they find the master and lite him on fire,he would explode with enough force to kill anyone in a 3 block radius with all the booze he drinks.
