I mostly pass on exclusives so I can get them cheaper elsewhere(Im in CA so I pay sales tax) unless it's an exclusive I really want. I don't feel the need for Harley's hammer but I kinda want purple jacket Joker's accessories so I may preorder Joker through SS and pick up Harley and Deadshot elsewhere.

Yeah the CA tax is killer. For that reason I usually don't get the exclusive versions but I really want that mallet. At least there's flex pay and it's not till next year.

After getting over sticker shock..

I think i'm going to wait for the movie and if i like it i'll wait for spook to order her. Probably miss out on the hammer but oh well.

This head sculpt is just too restrictive for me. Not so much the mouth but the eyes looking to the left. If you want her looking at you, the body will always have to be turned to the side. If you want to pose her with Joker, he has stand to her left. And I kind of more prefer her smeared lipstick appearance.

Phew, looks like she might be around for a while. Gonna try to wait out a few months. I like how they come with banner backdrops.

Love that they included the silver minaudière. Hate the PRICE.

Holding out for two reasons:

1. if I hate the movie, I don't want to lose a NRD - like I did with HT Tony Stark, IM3. I hated that movie so much it killed my interest in the figure.

2. Waiting for a gold-mesh, harlequin-pattern dress version, preferably with a calmer sculpt.

And well... that price. I'm going to wait and see a bit.

It looks like she's about to bite into a Whopper, or mugging for a Mentos commercial.

yeah people panic about this stuff way too much.

even fast sellers like the movie promo captain and scarlet, the waitlist converted in just a couple days. there's literally no risk in waiting. unless for some reason you waited 2-3 months to go on an item's waitlist.

A couple converted on those. But a lot did not. Those are bad examples and made in far less numbers then this will be.

The exclusive versions of a normal figure, like this and joker, are sold through primary distributors so they have an incentive to actually be distributors and a boost to sales. The exclusive is sold, officially, through the main hubs. Action City in Singapore, Sideshow for Na and some of Europe and Australia, Shanghai Disney store, toy sapians in Japan, and Secret Base in Hong Kong. Along with any events. They are not officially sold to the retail network like Bbts and toy anxiety and monkey depot and machine gun and so on. That doesn't mean those places can't pick them up direct just like you or I and then resell them. But generally they will not have support, so if it breaks or is defective SSC/hot toys won't help(general policy but exceptions happen time to time)

100% it brings so much life to the figure. And there's a good chance we will get more Harley's with different expressions. Also I don't feel like this one is over the top its just Harley.

It's not "over the top" in a picture or statue, but with a possible figure it is. Especially since it's looking way far to one side. We're literally only gonna be able to pose her on one side without it looking werid. I would've liked it better if the eyes were looking forward or at least not so far to one side.

I was just thinking about how everyone is so concerned that you will only be able to put her in one pose because of the expression and the fact she's looking to one side, but 99% of the collection picture that I see just have every figure in the same upright neutral pose, looking unnatural as hell. So is the concern that the expressive portrait won't match a terrible manikin like pose?

I kind of had a similar opinion when I first saw the figure, but when I got to thinking about it I realized there actually is a lot of fun poses you'll be able to pull off to make the portrait fit perfectly. The only bad thing is that she's a year away.

Plenty of time to save up. But yeah, the price is higher and higher almost every time with every new franchise. And we are still buying it so there is nobody to blame but us

i Preordered Harley will wait till I see the movie to decide if I'm gonna get the Joker. My one complaint on HT Harley is her shoes. I have the Cat toys HQ kit, and that has laced up with velcro strap equipped shoes, pretty nice. The HT one looks to be all molded plastic, no lacing. Probably can't swap them as I'd wager with her plastic legs there is the foot peg base permanently affixed to the inside of the shoe. Not a huge deal but for the slight bump up in price......
