Thanks for the Intel. I am in need of many stands and looking for something I can buy more than one. I need 12 stands.Wish neca would include stands.

There's a youtuber: "la crimeguy" that uses the Kaiser doll stands for 16 inch figures. He says Neca uses the same stands for their own presentation. Here's a link from an ebayer as an example:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Kaiser-Dol...725335?hash=item46499cd3d7:g:tjEAAOSwPc9W0Mw~
and look up his youtube vids on the Neca Batman begins review, he posted the stand in his replies.

I have one something similar and it works fairly well but only if you have the feet together. If you widen the legs stance it will be beyond the base and may not stabilize the figure well.

Maybe the HT MOS one will work. The bendy pole is pretty long as it is.
That is actually perfect for these figures. I use it on my Reeve Necas. The heavier base provides good stability and the pole is fairly sturdy to hold the figure. The only drawback is you can't use the clip to attach to the figure. I use a very thin wire (that I can hide) to hold onto the waist of the figure to the pole.

Awesome! Thank you so much?

I highly recommend the 3075 Kaiser Doll Stands that amusedjester linked to. I purchased them from Amazon (they come in a box of 12 at a good price) and they're just right for the 1/4 NECAs. They're a perfect height, a solid weight and adjustable on both the height and width around the waist of figure. The only criticism I have is that they come in a semi-gloss black but I repaint them flat black and I paint the top to match whatever figure it's holding.

Here's a couple of pics showing the 3075 Kaiser dolls stands on a couple of my NECAs including the Man of Steel figure (first time repainting a figure):

Awesome. Thanks for the pics. Nice to see where the holder lines up. Awesome Amazon has them. Will order for sure. Nice job painting the ends of holder to match the color of the suit. Sorry forget correct term for that part.

Just picked up 12 of the Kaiser 3075 stands on eBay for 61.99 delivered!! Finally can display them! Thanks again guys for all your help. I greatly appreciate it. Have a good weekend!

I finally had the chance to finish off my suit repaint. Pretty happy with how it turned out considering it's my first time repainting a figure. It's definitely given me the confidence to take on the face and I have a BvS Batman due to get delivered today which I'll be doing so I'm glad I got to practice on this one.

In terms of the blue I did two coats. The first was a transparent flat primary blue to darken the tone but keep the shading showing through. I then gave it a light wash with a gloss royal blue water based enamel so it had a semi-gloss finish on the detailing and creates a two-tone effect. The gauntlets and piping got a wash with a gloss black water based enamel which gives it that slightly glossy, rubberized look they have in the film.

The boots were given a light wash in a gloss transparent red enamel for a tiny bit more colour and shine plus it gives that two-tone effect again.

Last up, the logo was done with a metallic red and gold with the belt getting the gold treatment too.

Now I know I can do it I'm keen to try and tackle the face's skin tone and give the eyes a high gloss clear coat to try and liven them up a bit!

Thanks!

Will do. I'm not going overboard with the face. I just want to even out the skin tone, dial out a bit of the pink-tones in the skin & lips and get rid of the red around the eyes. If anyone has any suggestions for a good flesh tone paint I'd appreciate it!

Hello folks, I would to share my Man of Steel Neca custom. I just finished a Bat-ffleck Neca with a Jakks head custom and now doing it on Superman. Neca is a great action figure company but I have a few issues with the head sculpts primarily. Since Jakks figures where so cheap I wanted to re-use what was great on them for other figures.

Here's some initial process:

Here it is propped on the neck.

Damn, now the Jakks Batman head doesn't look so big in those pictures! Looks perfect.

Id say the Cavill head is just a little too high up on the neck, but MAJOR improvement. Anything is better than the stock NECA head haha.

Thanks TWayne. The earlier images of the Bat-ffleck was from an iphone and maybe was too close to the figure making the head look a bit bigger.

Your doing some great stuff Kroanx. This could turn out awesome. Looking forward to seeing more.

Hello, just showing updates on where the jakks head is in right now.

Applied apoxie sculpt and added in the head joint that was from the Neca head.

Added a center wrinkle on the forehead to give that extra expression that Henry Cavill usually shows.
