I'm so sorry for my horrible guess. I have brought shame to the forum community. I thought they were 1/4. I will stick my tongue in a fan as punishment. 1,000 pardons.

I'm just waiting for the price to be announced and completely turn me off to this set. I already have the original comiquettes and would rather save money for the Prime1 1990 set.

Aren't they going a bit crazy with the TMNT licence of late? There's just so many different figures or statues coming out soon. I know they're all different versions, but man, imagine wanting to buy them all haha.

I'd love the Prime 1 90's statues, but they're just too large and expensive for me. I'm hoping someone is going to make some 1/6 figures of these at some stage.

Haha, true. I think they planned it with the TMNT2 movie release to help promote and gauge interest.

:yess:

Yeah, $600 is ridiculous, why in the world would they be that high for 1/5??!! These are no doubt smaller than the Masters of the Universe collection and they're all under $450. :lol :cuckoo:

Size/scale does not really matter. Look at their McQuarry statues, Vader is $475 already. It's more about licences and popularity (Kylo Ren PF ? Maul PF ?) and so-called inflation.

My guess is the Turtles will be $499. But I sure hope I'm wrong.

Just curious if others have seen this, but what is with that seam in the left arm/shoulder area? Makes it look almost like a figure. Overall, I think Leo is looking great, but I can't unsee that seam. Even if it's for a change out part, SS can cover it better than that, can't they?!

Not curious enough to look one page back, it would seem ;)

It is a letdown. I'm not quite sure yet if it will deter me from purchasing... if it is a seam, I'd like to see if there's a reason to put it there of all places... and what they're charging for it.

I know this is complete speculation, but it looks as if that seam is actually larger and might just be for an entire switch-out arm. I really hope I'm wrong and they switch out at the wrist or under the elbow pad or something that conceals it.

Okay....this thing looks freakin' awesome! Seam or not, it looks amazing. I'll gladly take this group over the original comiquettes.

I hope others feel the same as you. That'll make people want to dump the originals so they can be scooped up!

About 3-4 times smaller...the difference between 1/6 and 1/4 is around 8

You sure about that math? The 1/4 and 1/5 in my collection don't look 3-4 times different in size.
