I finally ordered mine from BBTS. I can't wait to open that box and set it up. I'll post some pics once I get it!

Does anyone in the U.S. know what power adapter works with the Delorean? Want to make sure I get the right one. Thanks!

If anyone in the uk is looking to buy a delorean please avoid debmay646464, claims mine was sent tuesday, item never arrived no tracking supplied and now she is unresponsive her feedback has been turned to private and all her items pulled from sale...paypal case opened so the hunt continues for me :(

Just had my custom made case delivered with internal led lights in 5mm acrylic , can't wait to display this bad boy over the weekend properly.
Photo's to follow.

Where did you order it from? I'm trying to find out if UV protection an option on custom acrylic cases.

7.jpg8.jpg9.jpgWell here is my holy grail of collectibles and I am so pleased with the finished acrylic display case which I finished assembling this afternoon.
It is fully remote controlled and has a vast array of different colours and brightness levels.
Comments appreciated and I hope you all like it.1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg4.jpg5.jpg6.jpg

That is a sexy display there, if you dont mind me asking how much did that set you back? Thinking of having a dedicated display for this bad boy.

A tidy few pounds fella ..... £300 to be precise but really thick 5mm acrylic and semi transparent Antarctic double base with metal supports.

Not cheap but a real beautiful way to display this grail.

Cheers thanks mate. I agree it's very tidy, money well spent IMO

Man that looks pretty dam special. Its a piece that deserves the 'all out ' treatment . Awesome :)

Today I spent adding my decals to the delorean, weathering the wires and adding them to the interior. Doesnt look great with the flash but its easier to see what ive done. In person it looks pretty good. Next on the list... the lightning hook

That looks awesome man. I plan on doing the same with the wires. What size sid you get again?

Did you use the larger decals on the back wheels?

I used 7-Strand Tinned Copper 0.2mm Wire. Colours I got were grey, yellow, green, red and blue. If youre in the UK, search ebay listing number 151320037891.they bend and keep their shape. I then used a black wash to weather them to dull the brightness a bit and then used a spray lacquer to seal the paint. No glue has been used. It took me quite a while to make it look like the wires are attached to the black box on the dash. Next to no room at all to maneuver and very fiddly.

The wheel decals have 2 sizes as the front and back wheels are slightly different in size. The bigger set are for the back and the smaller ones for the front and battery cover

My display at present. Have still yet to sort the lighting. I also spent today printing and making some 1/6th props. On the bonnet is the letter, map, envelope and time circuit schematic. Drivers seat has docs flux drawing, martys letter warning doc he will be shot and the envelope and martys photo with brother and sister (that was a bad mother custom). Sitting on top of the radio is the bad mother sports almanac and my blue blast from the past receipt. By the gear shift is georges book a match made in space. On the passengers side are martys accessories. By the hoverboard are both versions of the usa today papers. Its been a fun day

Has anyone successfully touched up any scuff marks or scratches on their Delorean?
