i wonder if perhaps he just wasn't finding the sweet spot?.. or maybe it really is that loose.

Possibly... I tried looking for that. He seemed to have the BD chest piece on there pretty flush though. From the camera angle anyway it didn't look like it was misaligned.

I'm gonna assume that that isn't the norm though and perhaps he got messed up pegs on his BD chest.

It's not the norm. I have three mk45. I know a few people with them. And none of them have any issues. And it's not been mentioned before by anyone else that has him from this forum. It's either user error or a one off issue.

Damn, dude's rough as hell with that thing. He was pulling so hard on the protective plastic around the ankles that it ripped and then complained when the ankle piece broke off broke. You also clearly see him break the piece that holds the chest piece on early in the video when he moves the arm and it catches the side of the chest piece.

It says very clearly in the instructions not to move the figure past the recommended range of movement and which he did repeatedly with nearly every point of articulation on the fig. You can't do something the manufacturer specifically tells you not to do and then complain when something goes wrong.

Wow, that dude acted like he had about 10 cups of coffee before filming that.

Yeah I figured. Were it a standard issue I'd assume everyone would be talking about it. If it's not his fault, that's unfortunate. I'd hate for anyone to have issues with their figures. Nothing dampens the moment more than having a defective toy.

He treated the 45 in that video like it was the red-headed, step-child :lol

and my chest piece (both), have no issues staying on at all.

I treat my Collectables with more respect. I was cringing the whole time he was handling the 45.

He had the shoulders fully extended and he said he hates the exposed joints:lol

Yeah, that was absolutely ridiculous. He pulled the arms out as far as possible, then put it beside an iron patriot with the arms fully pushed in, and said it was terrible.

That's awesome! Thanks! I've never seen something like that done before!

Also, do any of you guys know the best way to find loose hot toys parts? Specifically the base from the Mark 7 battle damaged version. I want to display my MK45 beside my MK7, and I think that the two diorama bases with fallen enemies would look really cool together.

Toy Anxiety for parts from recent releases, for older parts just ebay.
