Re: Sentinel (company): Iron Man figures - 6 inch scale

I'm located in Singapore and they are on clearance. What happened to your IP?

Re: Sentinel (company): Iron Man figures - 6 inch scale

Are the joints on these re:edits tight enough to hold and maintain the poses? Found the extremis and bleeding edge at a local LCS for $100 and $140 respectively. Wondering to make the plunge or not.

the joints are tight and articulation is good. but its like the HT igor which is top heavy,
you need to use the stand to do dynamic poses.

Re: Sentinel (company): Iron Man figures - 6 inch scale

I see. Thanks for sharing! I am concerned of loose joints. Used to apply varnish on the ball joints that are loose.

I'm going to give an alt. opinion and say that if you get one as an example of what this line is about, go with Bleeding edge. The poseability on them all if the same since they use a same base or skeleton or whatever, but Bleeding Edge really stands out with the candy-styled metallic paint and it has moving panels throughout it that shift around as you pose the figure. It's extremely neat. The energy blades are also extremely cool.

Re: Sentinel (company): Iron Man figures - 6 inch scale

Can someone tell me what kind of batteries these use? I'm specifically asking about Iron Patriot but they probably all use the same type.

Unfortunately, the instructions are in kanji incl. the battery portion and I'm about to head into work. I'll post here when I get home and can unscrew/take a look at the batteries themselves.

I found LR41 with a Google search. That cross referenced to a 392. The best part is that the 392 works!

Oh darn it, I just gotten the extremis. :lol

Mainly because i read extremis is more solid while B.E is a little light weight.

Re: Sentinel (company): Iron Man figures - 6 inch scale

Less than War Machine cost, but yes, still too expensive. I'm hoping that this and Hulkbuster will end up heavily discounted in November, like War Machine was discounted this March.

However, there's also a photo of a red Marvel Now suit on Sentinel's Instagram. Seems to be an event exclusive, so we will have to shell out for it, sadly.

Re: Sentinel (company): Iron Man figures - 6 inch scale

Aww hell
Now I need that red version too.
Dammit!!!!

Re: Sentinel (company): Iron Man figures - 6 inch scale

I'm liking the red gold version more.

Re: Sentinel (company): Iron Man figures - 6 inch scale

Looks great, but apparently it's a show exclusive. Which means buying through BBTS at an inflated price, selling a kidney to pay a seller on eBay, or making a close friend who attends Asian cons.

Re: Sentinel (company): Iron Man figures - 6 inch scale

I cannot wait to get BOTH versions of the black/gold armor.

Re: Sentinel (company): Iron Man figures - 6 inch scale

due to the lower bod bulk, especially in the legs the head looks really small to me. kinda interesting that it wasnt until it was painted that i even noticed.

Re: Sentinel (company): Iron Man figures - 6 inch scale

Damn , just did an impulse buy on an Extremis IM on ebay. The seller accepted my offer, which I did not expect. This is my first Sentinel IM, I've always been interested in this line(from reading all the positive reviews) but the crazy prices drove me away. I can't wait to get Extemis and see what all the hype is about. The Marvel Now armor might be my next purchase.

Re: Sentinel (company): Iron Man figures - 6 inch scale

The thighs on this aren't anymore wide looking than than the others to me. His head does look small though, and I think part of it is that the chin isn't gold painted for lord-knows-what reason so it just looks like a floating partial mask.

grats!
still need to pick up the extremis, been on fence forever. let us know wht you think. highly recommend the bleeding edge hopefully that will get a re-release. if so would get another if cash was flush just to have elsewhere in house in diff pose. that much fun inhand and impressive to stare at i think.
