You can't seriously be telling me that the awkward pacing, bad editing and shifting focus is GOOD?

For the love of all things holy learn the difference between an opinion and fact.

If you have to use descriptors to make the pointb(the word BAD is a descriptor) then it's an opinion.

Facts can be proven. You think it's bad pacing. I think it's fine. Those are opinions. Adding up multiple OPINIONS to for an opinion (the film is bad Becuase you think the pacing is bad, there are plot holes ect) does not make the statement you think the film is bad actually a fact.

I think the pacing is good. Is that a fact or opinion? It's an opinion. It can not be proven. There is no formula to verify it. There is no rule book that says there has to be so many words, this many explosions in this amount of time.

As for the footballer question...again..that is an opinion. A fact would be that Messi has scored more goals. Or has more awards. Better is a word that requires an opinion to make its conclusion. That means, it's an opinion.

A fact is irrefutable. Opinion is a judgment. I posted a bunch of elementary school videos that show why your "facts" are not facts.

Your grouping a bunch of opinions together and saying that equals fact. The pacing of a film is an opinion. The editing of a film is an opinion. The acting quality of a film is an opinion. When you add them all up to make a conclusion you are stating your opinion based on more of your opinion. Not a fact based on facts.

Banging your head against a brick wall with this one I think! :slap

The Messi bit is case in point! Using Walters as a comparison is plain stupid... it's blatantly obvious that Messi is better.
You need an analogy that people can have an opinion on... so it should have been "who is the better footballer - Messi or Ronaldo?" - that's something people have an opinion on!

There was no problem with pacing, no problem with editing and shifting focus... not even sure what you mean there – that's a FACT!

I'm pretty sure that when people start simply posting a bunch of :lol or :rotfl emoticons with essentially every subsequent post they make, I'm pretty sure it's indicative that they're just simply trolling at this point.

That is indisputable delusion. Which, by the very definition, makes that a fact...

By that logic most art-house cinema is bad, since it employs non-conventional editing and pacing. I'm not going to expect an opinion on that from a grown man with a Transformers username though.

If it works within the context of the film it's not an issue.

Come on now, let's not get personal :lol

So why is it not blatantly obvious that BvS is NOT a good film? After all, Walters vs Messi is purely opinion based...

See Walters - if you're a Stoke fan... you'll love him –*but even then you know Messi's better. So you're original point was a bit childish to be fair.
Asking who's the better footballer - that's a quantifiable parameter.
But then ask what's the best car in the world... is an F12 Ferrari or is it a Ford Fiesta – well that depends on what defines a good car in your opinion – is it how fast the car is, is it how expensive the car is, or is it about how economical a car is or how many people you can fit in it... it's all subjective – but it's not fact!

And neither is your argument – you can blah, blah, blah on here all night if you want, but your dislike of the movie is YOUR OPINION – that is the only fact here!

As it goes, I think the pacing in Age of Ultron is terrible, but that's my opinion.

I think he really think it's fact. Which is scary. And explains a lot.

His post about which is the better guitarist is a clear example that he does not understand the difference between the two.

So many people can not see past their own life and experience.

Different cars do different things. It's about being successful at what they're supposed to be successful at. So for luxury cars, the most comfortable, the most pleasant to be in. For family cars, the ones with the most space, most child friendly. Track cars, the most enjoyable to drive. That's how you measure them. It's the same kind of thing with films.
