Here's a pic of the v2 on my current indy setup.

That sculpt does look! Paint is awesome. I do think this sculpt suits the last crusade better with indy being a bit fuller in the face

I agree that the V1 has a touch of a thinner face. The V2 seems a little fuller.

That's beautiful work right there. Love the heavier beard, very Raiders. And damn, those eyes are just so alive. Don't know how Jake gets the iris to look like that at the scale. Just insane.

I gotta say too that I really love the new hat! The shape is perfect Raiders -- the way it bulges a bit on the sides near the top. Inigou's done a wonderful job.

I wouldn't say it's a perfect likeness on either (just based on those two pics alone, I'd say V1 has the edge to me) but the stubble, detail and fedora look amazing on V2. Both sculpts are pretty damn good, and stellar paint-ups too.

Looking at the comparison i like v1 a bit better. The eyes are too big and too far apart imo

You can't go wrong with either (and I have the v1) but I'd say the new one has the edge for me. Looks more like Ford in the mouth and fuller cheeks. And the new hat kicks all kinds of ass.

It will be interesting to see V2 under different lighting and paint. It was so weird for me to see the MJ Choi head - which I didn't like much - suddenly transform into something great under the right paint and light. This Ingiou V2 is not a home run to me at this point, but it certainly has potential and yeah, that fedora is 10/10.

The fact that these are $200-300 heads (including great paint job) makes this stressful - you wait, you miss out, you jump and you end up with another "it's a decent 8/10" head to add to your growing collection of "decent 8/10" heads.

I've only just realized they are wearing the same hat. I altered the brim on this one, but will be getting the V2 to see how that looks.

Cheers bud. It's Kato's. It's the one i waxed the other day. Still WIP as i'll put the creases in next.

I hear ya -- there's always a better version on its way. But that's the way with life, isn't it? Always a better figure coming, or a better phone, a better car, a better computer, a better girl...?

I don't mean better, I just mean different (and varied.) Seeing things under different lighting gives you a fuller picture of what you're getting - like everything, heads can look great under a certain type of lighting, then not so great under different lighting.

The HT heads (Han etc.) look much better under harsher top lighting (showing sculpt lines better,) but not as good under softer brighter lighting.
