Yeah, exactly why I jumped on this one. Feeling pretty optimistic about Affleck's Batman, and I have to wait and see if the regular version is improved first. Had no interest in the armored Batman until this one, looks too cool to pass up.

I'm optimistic also about Affleck's portrayal. I absolutely love his regular movie costume, so soon as it was available, I used all my SS points and it's fully paid.
I wasn't concerned at first with the regular suit cause MOS had the same fat promo body, but the final looked fantastic.
so, still hoping ht fixes it.

But I also decided to pass the armored suit even though I was close to pre-ordering it.
But seeing this suit look stunning in black chrome helped give me the nudge to finally PO This suit.

After thinking about it I caved in like a house of cards in a hurricane and PO'd this chrome bad boy. Looks way too good to pass up.Congrats to all those who've PO'd one as well.

Just pre-ordered it. This figure is going to be hot.

Just placed my order (my first preorder in a long while). I like this way more then the original, only wish it came with the same stand/base. I don't like the big stand with the cheap paper cover this version comes with.. it's the same crappy **** that was included with the stealth ironman.

I've actually never liked the armor. I think it looks goofy in the comic, and in the movie he looks like a realistic Lego Batman. The black chrome gives it a completely different feeling however. Almost makes him look sleek when the armor is clearly not.

I reckon this will look even better in hand, without lights shining from all angles like at the show.

Yeah I sort of agree. Not a huge fan of the armor from the film or the comic (I don't like The Dark Knight Returns in general as much as most Batman fans do) but I like this armor more for some reason. The black chrome adds something to it for me.

He means the regular chrome version, there is one of those cosbabies so folks are guessing HT will make one too.

Yeah, I don't like the giant bases.. I never use them.

You can always get the stand with the regular armored Batman when it's parted out.

This figure will cost for me 351 Euro's because the shipping costs 36.36 EU and the figure 314.24 EU... damn

Wow. I love how the base's details reflect on Batman's shin guards.

And I love how a lot of people here are smart enough to know that the only significant difference a diecast version would make is the price.

Jada Toys pretty much exposed the truth that diecast shouldn't be expensive, but of course not with HT.

Also, a die-cast armor designed to be worn over a True Type like Mark 1, Zod, or Armored Batman would require a newly-designed TTM with joints that can hold the weight of the armor so that means another reason for $$$.

Thanks for sharing those pictures! It seems that under a more subtle lighting the weathering pops out.

I don't know if thats a joke or something, but it always had weathering. U can see that even on promo pics.

I know this is called "black chrome", but it really looks more like silver chrome to me. Which is fine, since it looks more like the movie suit

fraid not all the HK ebay prices are $350 and above so you'd be better just ordering from sideshow to be honest.
