I really did luck out. I never would have been able to build an ape army if not for this sale. Picked up a few to give to a friend, he was shocked when I said not to pay me back. (Three figures and I was only out 15 bucks) made me look more generous than I really am.lol
...I ended up telling him about the killer deal.

So glad I saw this thread the other day. I stopped into my TRU this morning picked up an 8" POTA Gorilla and scanned the marked $29.99 figure and got giddy when it showed the price being $7.99

I bought the five 8" Gorillas they had left. I wish I could get a few Taylors at this price. Thanks for posting the sale Brian. I would never have bothered scanning for a price check.

My TRU near me has some 8" Taylors and Soldier Apes left at the clearance price as well as just a couple of the Infantry 2-packs... and one lone Dr. Zaius (2nd version).

I got 8" Taylor for 7 bucks, the gorilla soldier 2 pack for 7 bucks, and General Ursus for 4 bucks. Pretty cool.

The casting cave confirmed to me by email that if they can source a retro Taylor they'll reduce the head to normal neca size and make it available..... Anyone able to help them out and finally give us the means to make our own Taylors...???...I'm stuck in the UK and also don't own the retro, but have seen enough pics to see that the sculpt would be fantastic if it were the right size.....
